Chapter 33
I never thought that the whole argument would take a turn and make Alfred and I bond. Through it's the truth the past does define us, maybe he truly is changing. I know it may seem obvious that he does like me, through he's been a playboy for a long time and I can't say that I hundred percent trust him.
I already sent all the pictures to my boss he hasn't replied back yet, and it's making me anxious. He and I didn't leave exactly on bad turns, through I feel as if he's deciding to fire me or not. I really love this job and I don't know what I would do if I get fired. Would I go back home in Florida and work at a fast food restaurant waiting for one of my colleges to except me?
"Tatum?!" Someone yelled. I shot my head up from dazing off in my picture book.
"Yea." I closed the book filled of the pictures I took from the places I've been.
"Did you even hear what I said?" Rhea leaned against the door frame with her arms crossed looking at me as if she was mad at a puppy who wasn't house trained.
"Yea." I said shaking my head no at her. She laughed at me by what I did.
She walked over she was wearing a white t-shirt with a red flannel wrapped around her waist, with that she was wearing ripped jeans. Her fiery crazy red curled hair was pulled back into a pony tale. "Jerry called saying that he really liked the photos you took, through he feels everything that had happened. We should just be on a break for a while, he's still going to take you to destinations. But your not going to be having to do any projects for him for a bit."
I sighed and looked down at my book. "So I'm not exactly fired?" I rubbed the cover as if there was something on it.
"Well he said to not to worry you but he has no thought in firing you. So don't worry lad." She lightly chuckled trying to lighten up the mood.
"Okay, so anything on the calendar then?" It kinda sounds weird to say that but she's my manger she organizes everything for me, so its pretty normal to ask that.
"Well for right now you can chill, through I'm sure soon enough he would want you to go somewhere else. Also I'm sure he wouldn't want you to get in anymore trouble and you might be able to go see your boyfriend." She smiled at me as she was getting comfortable on the bed.
I laughed. "First off he's not my boyfriend.."
She threw her index finger up in the air. "You forget the word, yet." Her grin was still on her face and her blue eyes were gleaming with humor.
I slammed her hand down and trying to bite back the laugh. "No, no... second off you and I have a girls night out."
She laughed as if I was joking. "Yea right lad, your not my kind of adventures person." She patted my arm trying to show that she wasn't trying to be harsh or anything.
I raised one eyebrow. "What do you mean?" A grin washed up on my face.
She scratched the back of her neck and was looking down at the blankets. "Well you see-"
"-Rhea!!" I looked at her up and down with a smirk on my face.
She put both of her hands in front of her trying to lay out what she was going to say. "It's honestly not my fault I love to party hard."
I put my hand over my mouth in surprise. "No wounder why your last name is Wild." I nudged her laughing at my own cringe worth joke.
She spit out a laugh, through she was trying to think of a way to reject having a girls night out with me. "Okay so you see my point, you and I aren't exactly party partners."
