Chapter 31
When I woke up Rhea wasn't next to me. I smelt fresh fruit and juice, which meant that she was in the kitchen. I was really thankful for Rhea being there by my side when I broke down. No matter what if I say his name I always feel like I was part of the problem. As I thought about it I felt nauseous, so I pushed the thought's in the back of my mind.
I walked into the kitchen Rhea was there setting the food on the table. "So what's for today's breakfast?" I pulled a small smile on my face.
"I just thought maybe we should have a fresh breakfast, cause you know last night you seemed so drained and the fruit could possibly freshen you up."She shrugged her shoulders after she was done talking.
"Okay yea I think that's a good idea. Also I just wanna say thank you." I gave her a welcoming smile and she returned the same one.
"Well mate we don't have all day so eat up." She smiled with her teeth and her Scottish accent really kicked in when she rose her voice with enthusiasm.
"Okay." I sat down taking my time to eat the fruit and juice that Rhea had laid out for me.
Afterwards I got into a regular t-shirt with died out blue skinny jeans. I sat down on the couch reading a book that Rhea found at the store, and she thought that I would like it. So far it wasn't too bad, it was like a grim's fairy tale almost.
There was a young princess who was spoiled and only thought of her objectives inside of the castle. She never really decided to bond with the village, so to her people, her allies and enemy's she became a ticking time bomb. She was getting to the age for marriage, through she wished for her not to get married to a selfish brat. So she set out one night to escape the castle, and leave behind at what she was only good at yet she truly hate what she had to do.
When she was sneaking through the village that night she had meant a young man. He was cold, kind, charming, rude and it could go on and on. She didn't understand him but some how he got her to go back and do what she was good at and try to see the light in what she did and not the shadows of the hatred.
Then there was a knock on the door, I set the red ribbon in the book and set aside and went to the door. I was thinking that it had to be Alfred and if it was than I think I'll forget to breath because I still have the guilt of being the cause of the whole situation.
Instead who stood in front of me was Ava, she was wearing causal skinny blue jeans and a light blue shirt. Her brown hair was down and she had some make up on but I'm not a pro at knowing everything about that.
"Hey!" She was smiling ear to ear, yet she seemed as if she was trying to keep her happiness inside herself.
"Hey." I smiled moving my body aside from the entrance so she could come in.
As she walked in she turned to look at me. "I have so much to tell you." She was smiling almost looking as if she was about to jump up and down like a little child.
I smiled at her almost laughing because she was so excited. "Okay." I shook my head in agreement for her to tell me.
We walked over to the couch and sat in the middle together she was ready to talk and I was ready to listen.
"So since I've been staying with my boyfriend for a while he and I are getting closer than I expected."
"Do you mean like a sexual way...or like a emotional connection?" I sat back looking at her.
"I would say in an emotional way at the moment, and he and I haven't got it on so...yea." She moved her hair off her shoulder, I could tell that something was on her mind.
