Chapter 9
I rubbed my eyes as my phone buzzing against the wooden night stand. I picked it up and I was all over the internet. But for what exactly? I haven't posted anything, not yet anyway. All of a sudden my phone changed it's screen to face time. Jerry is face timing me! I just woke up like this I hope I don't look like a monster. When his face popped up I smiled and said hi nervously.
"Tatum what is all this social media about?" He looked straight into my eyes.
"I haven't checked it out yet sir." I tried to make my hair look nicer through my hands were only creating the strands of my hair to get tangled.
"Yea I can tell you just woke up didn't you?" I shook my head. "Well these idiots on line are saying things like ' Tatum has found true love at sunset in Italy!' And it's all over the news."
I stood there in shock, this is why I hate people like Alfred. "Um Jerry that's because Alfred was bothering me. Through let me explain what I-"
"-What did I say about him?" He leaned forward towards the phone as if he was trying to get in my face.
"But Jerry he was wearing a hat and pitch black glasses so no one recognized him, and I am trying to keep him away from me but he's just-"
"Listen Tatum they may not have noticed that the man that you were with is the number one playboy. But try not to fall for his charm and whatever else he has." He looked at me as if I was his daughter and he was my father.
"I was going to finish the sentence with obnoxious and stalker, and trust me I have zero interest in this guy." Jerry leaned back in his large chair, and tangled his fingers together.
"You better keep that thought in your head every time your with him." I shook my head, but before I could say another thing he left.
I really hate Alfred, why can't he just leave me alone and go live his stupid life. I plopped myself back on the bed, and I thought that maybe I shouldn't send Jerry those pictures. Probably because he's really mad just like a father would be when he finds out that his daughter is dating a no good bad boy.
I found a light blue flower blouse, with white blue short shorts. And along with that was a long white sort of transparent sweater, and along with that was some white vans. My hair had come out with natural pretty waves. I wasn't impressing anyone so I just put on mascara and chap stick.
I garbed my bag full of items like my phone, camera, money, few tissues, lady products, mint gum, and pepper spray. I could never leave the unknown without some sort of thing to protect me. Right when I opened the door, there stood the devil himself.
I sucked on the inside part of my cheek, then bit my tongue. "What do you want?" I spoke with annoyance.
Alfred had a nice white button up shirt, with blue ripped jeans along with that were some sort of black shoes. "You look nice today." He said with charm and winked.
I only huffed. "You didn't answer my question, and how did you find my room?" I tilted my head a bit sideways with confusion.
"I want you, and the other question is one I'm not sure of." He leaned against the door frame, looking down at me. His demon blue eyes were baring down at me, and on the side of his lips was a slight smile.
"Well that's to bad, so go find something else to put on your to-do-list." I walked right past him, and closing my door almost hitting him in the face because I was to fast for him.
As I was leaving the building he was following me again! I turned immediately stopping him in his tracks. "I don't want to hang out with you, get that through your thick little skull." I looked into his eyes, hoping that he could see the anger and power that I'm forcing on him. For some reason he pulled me into the shadows of the street, the expression on his face was full alert. "What are you doing?"
