Chapter 32
I sent the text to her a few hours ago and she hasn't replied back, I'm starting to feel a bit worried.
"Clay she still hasn't fuck'en replied back!" I yelled across the hotel room.
"Probably because her phones charging, the phones dead, or she just doesn't want to talk to you for some reason."
I stuffed my phone into my pocket and grabbed my shoes ready to head out the door. I grabbed a jacket and walked out the door heading to my car to head over to Tatum's just to see what was up.
For some reason I felt like speeding down the roads to get to Tatum faster. As if I was a prince charming and she was a princess stuck up in a tower guarded by a dragon. But then again it's a beast saving her and not some prince charming, remember it's a fucked up grim's fairy tale story.
I was soon standing in front of the hotel room at which Tatum was staying at, I knocked twice and I heard footsteps inching closer towards the door. When it opened it was Rhea, she was looking at me with her lips as thin as paper giving me a oh-god-look.
"What do you want lad?" She looked at me up and down with sass and judgement.
"Is Tatum around?" I looked at her straight in the eyes showing to her that I'm in no mood to joke.
"Yea she's in her room, she said she was going to go take a nap."
"Can I at least go and check up on her?" I huffed frustrated that I'm waiting at the door when Tatum's only feet away from me.
Rhea moved her body to let me in, and I walked right past her as if she was never there. Rhea told me which room was her's before I got lost looking for her. I knocked on the door, and I heard Tatum moving around in the room unsure at what she was doing.
The door cracked open and I could see part of Tatum's face between the door and the door frame. "Hey." I smiled down at her.
She didn't show any expression. "What do you want?" She said bluntly and sadly.
I creased my eyebrows together confused. "What's wrong?"
"...nothing..." She said softly.
I know for hell's sake there's something wrong with her, Tatum was about to close the door on me but I only pushed it open. I walked in closing the door behind me so swiftly that Tatum was standing there shocked.
"What's wrong?" I walked up to her speaking softly. Her eyes looked puffy her nose was pink. Through I couldn't really see her face because she had her messy hair in her face.
She moved further back and didn't make eye contact with me at all.
"Tatum what the hell is wrong?" I continued to talk softly to her.
"...Why are you here Alfred?" she whispered. Moving her hand towards her face to wipe something away.
"Because I told you we need to talk and I hadn't heard back from you after that argument I had with that shitty man." I spoke normally know. She still didn't look at me, and I was starting to feel a bit frustrated.
"What you can't live with yourself if you can't hear from me?" She was speaking normal as well not seeming as sad as she did a second ago. Through her voice was still unbalanced, and she seemed frustrated as well.
"What the hell is wrong?" I asked one last time.
"You wanna know what my problem is?!" She seemed furious now. Bits of her hair was still in her face, through she half way turned to look at me.
