Chapter 26
I was sitting on the couch waiting for Tatum to finish her breakfast, after a bit she entered the room I was in. She had her coffee in her hand. As soon as she sat next to me I took the coffee out of her hands and took a sip from it. Some how her own type of coffee is better than the coffee in France.
"Hey!" She said surprisingly at me.
"Hey." I smiled at her then winked.
She got up and went into the kitchen then came back out with another cup of coffee. "I'm not done drinking my fair share of coffee, but if I don't finish it you can have the rest." I shook my head and went back to drinking the warm coffee.
"So are you going to tell me?" She was full on focused with the conversation she was bringing up.
"Tell you what? That you look nice with your hair wet? Cause I already told you that." I smiled before I took another gulp of the coffee.
She huffed , and looked at me waiting for me to tell her what she really wants to know about. I set the coffee on the side table and got relaxed in the grey couch.
"So you wanna know the story of Elizabeth and Darcy?" I looked at her."Yep." she was full on focused and ready to hear the story.
"So Darcy was in a very high social heritage, and has the typifies of a educated aristocracy. While Elizabeth was the second daughter of the modest means. Her father let his five daughters grow as they wanted. They had no education, nor any governors at home. Her mother thought that there father had given no thought about his daughters future, he thought that they would be able to do well by themselves. So her mother thought that the only way for her daughters to do well is to marry a rich educated man. Darcy was the kind of guy for one of the five daughters, because of his high status. And how Elizabeth's family was completely unacceptable to his polished. Soon he falls in love with Elizabeth but she refuses him. Until later she realized that she can't love anyone else but Darcy."
I looked at her when I was finished, I had the temptation to kiss her again but I didn't. "That's a good story." She smiled then took a sip of her coffee.
"Yea, it was my moms favorite love story." I grabbed the mug and took a gulp of the coffee, almost as if I was taking a shot of alcohol.
I wanted to get the agonizing pain to go away cause at the moment it feels like I'm getting the worst torture ever. I remembered when my mother was reading a book out loud and she didn't know that I was listening because I was hiding behind the door. She read. "The worst pain that you can ever have is not physical pain that you receive, but rather the pain you get from your emotions." Which is completely true.
I wanted Tatum to say something but she didn't not until a red head walked into the room. "Sorry lads for interrupting but I must ask are you two a thing?" She has a Scottish accent, which frankly I don't here that accent as much.
"Yea were a thing." A grin showed up on my face.
Tatum turned to look at me jaw-dropped. "No Rhea were not, he wish's we were but were not."
I got up and walked up to her. "By the way if Tatum didn't already tell you about me, I'm Alfred Valentin and-"
"And a billionaire Playboy you like to sleep with girls than leave them. I know who you are lad." She smiled, but I could tell that she was wildly fierce.
"You did your research on me, you must have been dreaming to see me." I smiled at her.
"No lad I only know you to stay away from you, because someone by the name of Jerry William's warned us about you."
