Chapter 5
I was only staying here for one day before I go out and travel. It makes no sense why Jerry would get me such a big hotel room, well more like a penthouse. James took me back to have a meeting with Jerry. The problem is if I should call him by his first name or by his last name, or maybe Sir. But I'm not sure if I should ask, because he might think of me less.
Before long I was walking through the large wooden doors that was the entrance to Jerry's office. I cleared my throat hopping that I might be able to grab his attention, for where ever he was. I started to walk around the large room.
The walls were made out of light brown colored wood. In a corner of the room there was two metal grey cushioned chairs facing a TV screen. and between those two objects was a glass coffee table. And about two feet away from the chairs were four sets of windows, looking down at the city.
And on the other side of the room were bookshelf full of books. Beside the five bookshelf's was a cabinet full of scotch, different verities of wine and liquor. And beside those jars were glasses. Which I was assuming that Jerry get's stressed most of the time, so I suppose that he drinks. I never liked alcohol, it was so disgusting when I first tried it.
And in the far center of the room was his huge grey crescent table. With two computers on each end. There was a mug full of hot black coffee, which that means Jerry should be around here some where. As I was thinking, I decided to sit in the cushioned black seat I sat in yesterday.
"Ms. Cadwell!, your here earlier." I jumped at the low voice that interrupted the silence.
I turned to see Jerry walking in with a black suit with a poke dot black and white tie. "Sorry Jerry I didn't know what time you wanted me to come?" I bit my bottom lip because I called him by his first name and I'm not sure how he's going to take it.
"Oh did I not give you a specific time to come here?" He looked at me confused with his grey eyebrows smudged together, and his eyes squinting.
"No, no you didn't. Do you want me to leave?" I positioned myself ready to leave.
"Oh no, your already here so why not go ahead and discuss what your fist project is." He gave a welcoming smile, and sat down in his large leather black seat.
I cleared my throat ready to talk about whatever we had to discuss.
"So your job is to take pictures of Italy, you sketch out a area and take a picture of that. But if you have to suck in the mood into your pictures, got it?"
I shook my head. "Got it."
"Good, now your going to be on a separate plane from the citizens. By that I mean that your going to be on a private jet with other celebrities. You don't have to talk to them to try to fit in or anything, just behave yourself."
"Okay I understand thank you Jerry." I stood ready to leave, but Jerry spoke again.
"By the way the plane ticket is on your account." He gave me one last smile before he looked at his computers, typing in whatever set of words to something.
When I came back to the large hotel room I was staying in, James was going to help me pack the set of items Jerry dropped off. It was a new camera, but it was no regular camera it was a Hasselblad H4D 200MC. It has a high, and by high I mean very high resolution of about two hundred million pixels that help with making beautiful pictures. It also has a sensor that can capture six shots at a time, also has really good special effects. Which this camera costed about forty-five thousand dollars, that means its the most expensive camera in the world.
The other items that Jerry got me was a mine tripod which is lot's of help if I'm going to do slow shutter. Remote release when in need of taking a picture from high up or because I have to hold the camera, instead of reaching for the shutter button and cause a messy picture. The Remote release is a lot of help. A microfiber cloth are very helpful when you want to make sure all of the equipment are clean from dirt and dust. Which also an air blower is quit helpful too when cleaning the equipment.
