Chapter 14

My head felt heavy when I woke up, this is how I always feel when I drink too many beers. Clay is going to kill me when he see's this big mess. Sheets everywhere, pillows were all over the bed and beer glasses were all over the floor. And to add onto that I smelt like alcohol, like someone had dumped a whole bucket full of alcohol on me.

I walked out heading into the shower, I spent about thirty minutes in there. Trying to relax and clear my head with all these twisted thoughts. Everything from yesterday was playing over and over in my head.

"I know what you are... a cold, selfish person labeled as a playboy." Tatum's words were like a record player in my head, just on repeat. " That was the past... what you did back there... thank you." Then her calming smile popped into my head, with her warming light green hazel eyes staring at me.

I shook my head back and fourth, as if that was going to help knock out those thoughts. It was probably the alcohol, it was still doing it's last turn in my head. There could be no other reason why her voice and her smile was in my head, honestly it has to be the alcohol.

I ruffled my wet hair with the towel, I already had my ripped jeans on. my shirt in the other hand, as I walked back towards my room to pick up the mess. Through as I walked past the living room, I saw a familiar face. I stopped in my tracks trying to remember who this person is.

"Alfred?!" Clay spoke with wide eyes as he looked at me. The girl turned around, she had dark brown hair, light brown eyes. Full lips, oval shape face, through she turned around and her eyes were wide.

"What?" I questioned Clay.

"Put your shirt on." He hissed at me.

My bare chest was still a little damp, my hair was ruffled. Which I was sure I looked like a ten to anyone. I put my white T on, it stuck to my body because it was static and because of my wet skin.

"Here I want you to meet Ava." He motioned me to walk over towards her. She had a glare yet a shock in her eyes.

I cleared my throat. "It's nice to meet you...Ava." I held out my hand, and she shook it.

"Yes, and it's a pleasure to meet you. Clay has told me so much about you." She smiled, and looked back to Clay. She then kissed him on the cheek, and the way she kissed him and his face and name look familiar.

Right then and there it clicked, some point I slept with this girl.

"Well Alfred to start this off, Ava is the girl I'v been talking about." He smiled as he put his arm around her waist.

And she's my mangers girlfriend! Shit, this is going to a dead end.

I took a deep breath in, trying to relax. "She's-Ava is your girlfriend?"

Clay gave a puzzled look at me. "Yea dude, is't that obvious?" I looked at Ava and she was glaring at me.

"Yea sorry man. I had a rough night, I gotta go clean up the mess." I gave a smile at Ava and turned to go clean the beer bottles up.

"You sleep with another girl, because if you did how many times do I have to tell you to keep it in your pants?" He chuckled.

"For the first time no that's not this scenario." I smiled and went to my the room.

When I opened the door the room was spic and span clean. I was confused, was it the hotel maids or did Clay pick up before bring his girl here. I turned back to Clay who was smiling to Ava.

"Hey Clay did you clean this up?" I questioned pointing towards the room.

"No, I was gone for a few hours, even before you woke up. It was probably the maids." He went back to chatting with Ava. Man he seems to really like Ava, I probably shouldn't tell him about the past.
