Chapter 19
*Buzz* *Buzz* ...
I woke up with my phone ringing on the side table next to the couch. I looked up and picked up my phone to answer it.
"Hello?" I yawned asking in a sleepy voice.
"Hey Tatum it's Clay you know Alfred's best friend. Anyway he wanted me to call you at four to get ready, he didn't tell for what specifically but I'm sure you know what he's talking about."
There was a pause between the conversation because I was yawning again. "Okay yea, thank you for telling me, I guess."
"No problem, see ya." I hung up after his words, I was still very tired. It's hard to resist the temptation to fall back asleep when your already cozy and warm. Through I got up anyway, because I knew that Alfred will not stop until he goes on a date with me.
I don't even take it as a date because he said that it was just so that I could have some information on how a date is suppose to go. I think he's just trying to take advantage for this, why would he help me? I'm sure he wants something in return, such as getting me in bed with him, why would he think that's his only goal in life.
The only reason why I didn't want him to leave earlier is because I knew something was wrong with him. I couldn't tell exactly what through I just knew that he was going to do something that could hurt him or others. I didn't want that to happen so I told him to stay a little longer, it's not like I wanted him to stay a little longer because I liked him or anything. Clay did call me exactly at four, which is precisely what Alfred wanted Clay to do. After all Clay is Alfred's manager.
I went to the shower to rinse off one last time, it didn't take more than five minutes. Blow dried my hair, than curling it with a curling iron. I walked towards my closet to pick out my outfit. I know for sure that he was going to take me some where fancy. Most likely because he wants to try and impress me, and fall head over heels for him. I didn't want to look like as if I didn't put any effort into this date, because if people saw me in horrible clothing at a fancy place, they would immediately despise me.
So somewhere in my color coded closet I found a dress, the top part was white with a layer of lase design over the white fabric, that had no sleeves. There was a small light brown belt around the waist part, separating the bottom half and the upper half. The bottom half had multiple thin layers of light golden brown fabric of the flowing knee high dress. With that was a golden colored chain bracelet, with a long purse that had a medium dark leather brown strap, and the purse its self was a cream brown. I had a three inch high heeled cream color shoes.
I went back to the bathroom to apply my make up on. I had a thin layer of foundation, mascara, and brown eyeliner. I think I was about done and it was only five thirteen. Did Alfred wake me up at this time because I was going to take forever. Now I have to wait and I hate waiting, because when your in the zone of working you don't want to stop working.
So I walked over to where my laptop was sitting, I pulled out the flash drive had my new pictures that I have taken previously here in France. I uploaded the pictures to a link that I'm going to send to Jerry. I do hope he likes them, through I'm sure he will. He's still working with the other bosses that he has a industrial connection with to find a way to die down the rumors that are all over the media. I checked them last night just to see if it's going to die down it's self but it hasn't. TV shows such as Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, Access Hollywood, TMZ, Extra, E! News, and The Seven has been constantly looking into the relationship between Alfred and I.
When the pictures were syncing into my computer to the link, there was a knock on the door. I looked at the time on the computer it was exactly six. I walked over to the front door, there stood Alfred in front of me.
