Dear Diary,
Today I decided to be a good child for some reason and thoroughly clean my room. While sorting through a box in my closet I found a piece of paper with my scrawled third grader handwriting. It was titled, "Things To Do When You Are Bored." Here it is:

Read a book
Listen to music
Organize stuff
Watch a movie
Play a game
Get chores done early
Eat a snack
Talk to a friend
Watch a TV show
I have no idea if I actually ever used this list. In fact, I barely remember making it. My point is, literally everything in this list can be turned into band related activities.
Read a book
Or I could read fan fiction. It's just a normal (for the most part) book but with better characters. Ones that I can visualize easily... and already love... and...
Listen to music
Well this one is self-explanatory. Only, in third grade it was probably all Taylor Swift.
Organize stuff
I have zero idea what stuff needed to be organized at the time but my band posters could use a little straightening out...
Watch a movie
How about a full concert on YouTube?
Play a game
Hmm I will gladly play make believe and pretend it's 2005. Or that Andy Hurley is my husband. Or that I am at a Twenty One Pilots concert.
Get chores done early
This was hard to make band related. But then I remembered that I am band trash and taking the trash out is a chore of mine. So if I were to go for a walk, I am taking the trash out. There.
Eat a snack
Sure, I will go pull out some gourmet f****** fruit gels and Cheez Whiz with a tall glass of milk. Mmm mmm delicious.
Talk to a friend
In third grade, talking to a friend meant pulling out the handy-dandy giant phone book and calling someone's home phone, hoping they were home. But now, I think I'll just text Janelle, Jessica, or Cody to gush about bands.
Watch a TV show
Come join me as I watch a marathon of emo crack in my room! All alone! In the dark!
So here it is, my updated list of things to do when I am bored. I am very ashamed of myself. I'm sure my eight year old self would be too.
