Sleepover With Janelle

Dear Diary,

Happy New Year!

So I, the brave Ciara, decided to invite Janelle and Jessica over for a sleepover on New Years Eve. Jessica couldn't sleep over because she had to go to church or something the next morning. I'm a bit confused because January 1st was a Wednesday, not a Sunday. Are churches open on Wednesdays?

Janelle asked Jessica if she had to go to church "because you need to pray for the wicked?" And Jessica got very weirded out and said she had to go because she accidentally viewed some inappropriate and ungodly images on her mom's laptop while searching for Christmas gifts. I guess she wanted to ask for for forgiveness or something. No judgement.

Sorry, my Green Day fan girl side just came out. I should probably erase that.

Speaking of, Green Day did FABULOUS at the New Years Rockin Eve performance. Just plain fabulous.

What?!

Yes, it's true. It was great. Jessica left at 12:01 AM. I guess she was very eager to get out of my house...

Janelle stayed until 2:00 P.M. the next day. It was soooo nice. We talked and played games and talked some more and watched Netflix (no chill, of course). I was so happy to have her alone. It was so nice. No Jessica, no Brianna. Just us.

When we watched Netflix she said she was cold so I offered her one of my throw blankets. I sat next to her while she was under my blanket and she grabbed my arm and pulled me closer and said, "get in here, girly." It was so funny and really cute and I'm making myself so crazy. We stayed like that for a few episodes.

I really really like her and I just want to tell her that I like her. I'm so worried she won't feel the same about me.
