Dear Diary,
I admit it, I am probably the worst friend ever.
Today on my typical Wednesday afternoon I was blessed with some comedy gold. I got a text from Jessica while I was eating lunch. It said, "Ciara I have some really bad news. Make sure you're sitting when you read this. Have tissues by your side."
Once I assured her I was sitting down and had tissues ready to go she sent me another text.
"I hate to be the one to tell you this. But Panic at the Discos split up. John and Ryan left."
It took me a few minutes of staring at her text in confusion to realize she had no idea Panic! had split many, many, years ago. And being the not-so-great friend that I am, I fed into her stupidity.
I replied back with, "I know, I heard about it when they announced it a month ago. Ryan tweeted about it. I can send you screenshots."
And once again, my bad friend side came out as I photoshopped fake tweets. I got way too into it and had a little too much fun. She bought every word and truly believed they were real.
I guess Jessica really thinks Ryan is a 13 year old girl who just broke up with her boyfriend over Twitter. I feel kind of bad because she seems really upset.
The best part is I totally messed up the dates of one of them and she STILL didn't notice!
Then again, she didn't even know who Jon was until three weeks ago and she still claims she's the biggest Panic! fan that ever lived. Plus she spells his name as John. Nice.
