Dear Diary,
It's really sad, but I feel like I'm the next Jessica. Throwback to mid-freshman year when I met Janelle. Jessica was mad that I found a real emo friend (and a real friend) to hang out with and she got really mad and protective over me. Don't get me wrong, I love Jessica, we've been friends for longer than I can remember, but sometimes she drives me insane.
Anyway, now I'm the one who's being really annoying. But this time it's over Janelle.
Her name is Brianna.
I'm sure she's a sweet girl. Actually, she is a sweet girl. I've met her. She's in the grade below us. Her and Janelle met from the volleyball team apparently. It's fine, it doesn't bother me that they hang out, it bothers me that it bothers me that they hang out.
I make no sense.
Why should I care if my friend makes another friend? The other day I asked Janelle to come get ice cream with me and she said she couldn't because she was going to some minor-league baseball game with Brianna.
She doesn't even like baseball.
And what bothers me more is that she had hung out with Brianna the day before too. Janelle had been ignoring my texts all afternoon and I checked Snapchat and sure enough they were together.
I don't know what's wrong with me.
