"Huwaw, makapag-angkin ka sa bata ko akala mo ano mo talaga siya eh 'no? Eh kung batukan kaya kita diyan! Hm?" Biglang litaw ni Rydel sabay batok sa lalaking gustong-gusto ko ng suntukin sa inis.
"Aray ko naman, ManageRy!" daing niya sabay sapo sa ulo niya. "Binatukan mo na nga eh."
Umastang babatukan ulit ni Rydel ang lalaki. "Umayos ka kasi ha? Umayos! Kaya nami-misunderstood ang pinagsasabi mo dahil na din diyan sa kalokohan mo eh."
Napakamot ito ng ulo. "Sorry na po, ManageRy."
"Rydel? You know him?" kunot-noo kong tanong. "And you're here?"
"Yes and yes, Ryll," sagot nito sabay tingin sa katabi ko. "I see that you're with her."
"No." I answered quickly. "She's not with me. She just bumped into me."
"Uh-huh."
"Magkakilala kayo ManageRy?" tanong ng nakakainis na lalaki.
"Yup!" sagot ni Rydel.
"BAAAABE—oh. Hi Doc, lalaking hindi ko kakilala, at Paigeneya!" Biglang dumating din si Agatha.
"You're also here?" I asked her.
She beamed at me. "Of course naman doc Ryll! Ako pa ba? Ako kaya ang head chef na nagluto sa mga pinaglalamon ng mga bisitang ito."
Paige scoffed. "So that's why they tasted off."
"No one asked for your opinion, Paigeneya," Agatha said with a bright smile.
"Tasted off ka diyan, eh kung i-off ko pagmumukha mo ngayon mismo," giit ni Rydel.
Paige gasped. "What did you say?"
Rydel and Agatha rolled their eyes at the same time. "Oh please, don't act like you didn't hear what I said," Rydel replied. "Baka di ako makapagtimpi at mabuhusan kita ng asido sa mismong bunganga mo."
"W-What the... what did I do to you?" she asked. "I didn't do anything to you!"
Agatha laughed darkly. "This bïtçh," I heard her muttered under her breath. She's on my other side that's why I heard her.
Naglakad papalapit si Rydel kay Paige. "Stop acting like an innocent, Paige Parker. We all know how black your soul is." Tinignan niya ito pataas-baba. "And not even your beautiful evening gown can hide how filthy your personality is."
"Rydel," I called her but Agatha touched my arm to stop me.
"Don't doc Ryll," sabi nito ng tignan ko siya.
"Why?"
She looked at me before getting our distance close. "May period 'yan ngayon, kaya kung ayaw mong mabuntungan ng init ng ulo, wag mong pigilan si babes."
I gulped. I know how women are when it's their time of the month. "Noted. Thanks."
"Mhm, welcome."
"Don't touch him with your gross hands!" tili ni Paige ng makita niya ang paghawak sa'kin ni Agatha.
"ManageRy, papatulan ko na talaga ang isang 'to," sabi ng lalaking nakakaasar. "Kakalimutan kong babae ito."
