A/N: Hey Guys! Enjoy!

Kat’s POV
1 week later
It’s been a week since Jeff found me by our spot.
Woah Kat, slow down there.
Not our spot, but you know, you get, uh, I really hope you understand what I mean. I haven’t seen Jeff around much, I haven’t been avoiding him, I just haven’t seen him. We have finals coming up soon, so I have basically had my head stuck in a book for the majority of the week.
I took 3 already, 2 for English and 1 for Math. I have 4 left. 1 more for Math, 1 for Science, 1 for Spanish, and 1 for Home Ec. Yes, I have a final in that class too. Though, once finals are over, they always have this big dance that everyone goes to.
It’s sort of like prom, but not really. Everyone in the town goes, not just us. It’s kind of like a ball, Cinderella style. I’ll probably go, because Riley will force me to. She’s a huge sucker for the romantic-type things, AKA dances.
Oh and it’s sort of like a must to have a date to these types of things. If you go alone, you face the wrath of being silently judged by everyone there just because you don’t have a date.
Friggin’ people.

“I need to find a date!” Riley whined. I rolled my eyes. “Why don’t you just go alone?” I asked, though I already knew the answer. “Because!” Riley threw her hands up exasperatedly. “Why do you even care what they think?” I raised a brow.
“Kat, I’m not like you. I can’t just go out, and not care about anything or anyone!” she groaned. I sat on the edge of her bed. “Riley, calm down. Just ask Chase.” I stated. “Kat, he usually doesn’t go to these types of things.” She rubbed her temples.
I grinned. “I bet if you ask him, he will.” She looked at me, annoyed. “I don’t know.” I rolled my eyes. “Come on just do it. Go to his house right now and ask him.” I pushed her up and out the door. “Kat,” she groaned.
“Get over it.” I said kicking her in the butt. She swatted my foot away. “Fine.” She huffed. I grinned. “Now go!” I laughed, closing her door behind us.

“HE SAID YES!” Riley screamed into my ear. I smiled. “I told you he would.” “Shut up, do not make this an ‘I told you so’ moment.” She said, but I could hear the amusement in her voice. “Now, we have to go dress shopping!” she squealed excitedly. My eyes widened, that would be a loooooong day. Riley could be a very picky person.
“Yeah, we do.” I smiled. “Look, Riles, I gotta go. I’ll talk to you later though.” I said. “Okay, love you. Bye” “Love you too, bye.” I smiled pressing the end button. I took a break from studying, heading downstairs for food. I found Rachel and Axel cuddled up on the couch watching a horror movie.
