A/N: Oh my goodness, this is the epilogue. I didn’t think that this would be so sad, but it seriously is. Honestly, I have had an awesome time writing this and I hope you’ve had just as much fun reading it.

Kat’s POV

3 years later

“Mommy! Mommy! Look Daddy’s home!” Avery, who is now 2 years old, told me matter-of-factly. I laughed, rubbing my belly. I was 6 months pregnant with our second child. “Daddy!” I heard Avery squeal as Jeff picked her up. “How’s my little buddy!” he cooed, swinging her around. She giggled and tugged on his hair. “Daddy stop!” she laughed. I smiled at them, silently being thankful for the fact that I have a happy, healthy family. Jeff dropped a kiss on my cheek and carried Avery into the family room.

“What do you wanna watch tonight, kiddo?” he asked her. “NEMO!” She shouted excitedly. I smiled and thought back to 3 years ago when Ace had kidnapped me. He was in jail now, and would be for the next 17 years. Soon after I was found, Jeff had asked me to move in with him. And then eventually he asked me to marry him, which led us today. Avery was born on February 10 and had been a bundle of joy since. “Hey honey, what’s for dinner?” I heard Jeff ask. “Remind me why I married you?” I chuckled. “Oh please, the first time you met me, you knew you were playing for keeps.” He said, gently pecking me on the lips.
