Chapter 10 [Part 2]

Forgetful [Part 2]

It feels like something hit my head. I hear some rustling around the room, but I can't stay conscious long enough to know what it is...

I'm awake. I don't remember much of what happened to me. Where am I? What did happen?

I notice a bunch of people standing around me. Their mouths are moving, but I can't hear anything.

I can now slightly hear some of the voices.

"Skylar?"

"Can you hear us?"

"Are you okay?"

The voices said. I don't know which said what. There were so many people in here. I recognize 2 faces standing infront with a bunch of boys. Ariana and Taylor (friend). My 2 best friends. I've known them for as long as I can remember.

The door creaks open and a doctor walks in, "Hello. I see you're awake."

"What happened to me?" I'm so confused right now.

"I will tell you after you answer a few questions for me," I nod. "Okay. Do you recognize any of these people?" The doctor asks his first question.

I looke around the room. I see Ariana and Taylor (friend). Everyone else had begging looks on their faces like I should remember them, but I don't. "I remember my best friends. Tay (friend) and Ari. That's it." I look at everyone else again. 3 guys in particular look devestated. Wait. How could I forget? "I remember one more. Shawn. My brother." I smile at him.

The doctor nods, "Anyone else?"

"Nope. No clue."

"Alright," he writes something down then continues his sentence, "What is the last thing you remember?"

"Well, I was at school, and," I pause for a moment trying to remember, "someone had pushed me to the ground. Then everything went black. Now I'm here."

"And do you know who pushed you down?"

I hesitate before answering, "My other friend. Natalie. We were fighting."

"Just a couple more questions. Are you ready to hear what happened to you?"

"Yes," I confirm while nodding my head.

"Well, I'll tell you all we know. Your brother says that he woke up in the middle of the night and you were on the floor, unconscious. Do you remember any of this?"

"No," I have a confused look on my face.

He writes more down again, "One last question, would you like to know who these people are?"

"Yeah. Please."

"Okay. I will leave and they can tell you," he turns to the crowd, "You can tell her anything she wants as along as you don't stress her out too much." He walks out of the room with his clip board in hand.

There is an awkward moment of silence, so I decide to talk, "Well...I don't have to introduce myself. You all already know who I am."

Shawn steps forward, speaking, "Well, all of these guys are in Magcon. Along with myself. This is Taylor, Nash, Cameron, Matthew, Carter, Jack and Jack, Aaron, Shawn, Hayes, Brent, and Jacob." He points to each of them as he says their names.

"Woah. That is a lot of guys."

"Do you remember any of us?" The one with blue eyes and light brown hair asks. Nash I think it was.

"I mean, your names sound familiar, but I can't match any of them to your faces. Sorry." He looks so hurt.

I jump when I hear an unexpected buzz come from my phone. I grab it. 1 New Text Message, the screen read.
