** 2 weeks later **

Jack's P.O.V.

It's been 3 weeks since Leigh and I have been dating, but only 2 weeks since Alana and I talked. I was just looking out my window and Alana happened to be there. There she was with her friends smiling an hanging out. I haven't seen her smile in what seems forever. I was distracted by my thoughts when I heard a knock on the door. I opened it to see Sam.

"Hey man what's up," I smiled.

"Nothing much dude anyways can we talk about something," He asked.

"Yeah sure." We sat down on my bed facing the window,"So what's on your mind bro?"

"Well I came to you because I wanted to make sure there was going to be no tension between us," He started off.

"Alright man your scaring me haha," I laughed and nudged him in the shoulder.

"Ok I am going to ask Alana out.." He said. I don't why but I just want to say no. I don't want her to date anyone.

"Yeah man go for it!" I said hiding away what I was really feeling.

"You sure? No hard feelings?" He smiled.

"I'm sure dude go for it!"

"Alright thanks man! See you later," He smiled and walked out if my dorm. Why did I just say go for it? I don't want see her with him.

Sam's P.O.V.

I'm so glad Jack is ok with me asking out Alana. I've liked her for a long time and I think since Jack has a girlfriend he can't do anything to her.
I'm going to ask her out tonight all special kind of like Jack did. I'm doing it out on the football field. I'm gonna have Johnson walk her over here and then made of candles the field will say,"Be my girlfriend?" and then I'll give her roses and a teddy bear. I really hope she likes it. I feel like she needs something amazing because of what happened during her last relationship.

** Later that Night **

Alana's P.O.V.

For the past 2 weeks, I have finally fully accepted that Jack is dating someone else. I have moved on and I'm honestly ready to start a relationship with someone else. I have someone on my mind though. It's Sam. We've been best friends for a long time and I've liked him for a month and a half now. I have been having a great time at college. I have the perfect friends, perfect classes, perfect roommate, perfect dorm.

"Ok so that's sound great I'll see you later," My friend said as we were walking back to our dorms.

"Alright bye," I smiled and waved goodbye as I came up to my dorm door. As I was unlocking my door, Johnson came up to me.

"Hey Alana, can I take you show you something real quick?" He asked all smiling.

"Umm yeah sure just let me out my stuff down and grab a jacket," I said as I entered my dorm.

"Ok lets go," He said.

"Ok so what do you want to show me?" I was super curious.

"It's down on the football field," He seemed very excited.

"Are you alright? haha you seem super jumpy haha," I asked laughing.

"Because what I want to show is very exciting.. Now I have to blindfold you."

"What why haha."

"Just please let me blindfold you," He said giving me the puppy dog eyes.

"Ahhh ok fine. But please don't let me hit anything.. or fall.. or die," I said nervously.

"Ok stop worrying I got your back," He said laughing. "Almost there.. and Ok take off your blindfold." As I took off the blind off I was so excited. I was so ecstatic I even started to tear up a bit.

"Wait Jack are you asking me out?"

"No haha he is," He pointed beside me and I saw Sam walking over with a teddy bear and roses. I covered my mouth thinking,'Awe omg how cute!'

"As you read the on the field, Alana will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes! Oh my gosh this is so cute! Thank you," I was so happy. He handed me the teddy bear and roses. I was so excited. I looked over and saw a camera recording. I walked over to it with Sam and said,"September 6, 2014.. Yayyyy hahaha" Sam walked me back to my dorm and we said our goodnights. I am so happy Sam and I are together. I guess Jack is just apart of my past.
