49. It Goes Down Tonight

Jack's P.O.V.
Today is the day I am asking Alana out. Jack and I had a conversation about it 1 week ago so I've been planning it ever since. I wanted to do something like Sam but I didn't want to make her think about him again. Then I thought about how I asked Leigh, I came up with an idea close to that but not quite. This is what I came up with, 2 days ago I asked Alana if she would go on a date with me, luckily she said yes. Tonight, I was going to take her out to a casual dinner and then go for a walk in the park. At the park we would basically walk around and talk to each other about life. At the park there's a beautiful duck pond where a lot of couples go. Right then, I would tell her what I've been feeling and ask her out. It all goes down tonight. I'm honestly so nervous yet super excited. The main thing I'm worried about is her reaction. What if she runs away or says no? Ok now I'm just worrying too much. I'm not sure how I would react if she said yes. All I know is that, if she says yes then I will never again hurt her or lose her like I did before. Because second chances are the only other chances you'll ever get in life.
