Jack's P.O.V.

I honestly didn't know what to do with Alana anymore so I just needed to let her go.. She deserved better and I obviously wasn't right for her. I'm going to her tonight that everything between us is officially over. This could either the best decision or the worst.

Alana's P.O.V.

I wanted to forget what Jack said but it was just too hard. I didn't want to tell Mariana because I know she would flip out on him. Tonight was one of those nights where I needed to head back up to the roof and watch the sunset. The sunsets here in Dallas are amazing. It's almost 5:45 and the sun goes down at around 6, so I decided to head to the roof.

As I went up there, and walked to my spot I noticed Jack already here. 'What's he doing here?' I thought. He actually looked helpless and I just wanted to hug him. I decided to wait a couple of seconds and then say .."Jack?"

"Alana..?" He said not looking at me at all.

"What are you doing here.." I asked.

"Just wanted to watch the sunset.. You know," I know he was lying. I came and sat next to him and the sun went down. As it went down it became darker and darker. It was dead silent for about 10 minutes until I started a new conversation.

Jack's P.O.V.

The sunset was beautiful and so was Alana but I really needed to tell her everything. But apparently she beat me to it and started a conversation. What she just said broke my heart.

"What does it feel like?" She asked. "What does it feel like to love someone who you can trust, cherish, and care for?" This broke me.

"It feels good.." I said.

"..What does it feel like to love someone who you know won't give up on you when things go wrong?" She said as she started to cry a little. I was so heartbroken right now.

"Where is coming from.." I asked. I was confused, until I realized everything shes saying is from what I told the guys this morning..

"You overheard me and the guys talking today didnt you.." I asked.

"Yes.. I went to go knock on the door and right when I was about to you said something that broke me.." What? I broke her.. I didn't think she would care. I asked nervously,"What did I say.."

"You said, You were going to let me go.." She said trying to hold back tears.

Wow. I was hoping she would say something else that I said.

"I'm sorry Alana.. I honestly didnt think you would care.." I frowned.

"What are you talking about? Of course I cared." She said a little mad.

"Why didnt you tell me this then?!" We both started getting really mad.

"Because you never have me the chance to tell you!"

"Yes I did, but you kept walking away from me!!" I was so confused right now.

"Because.. I didn't know what to say when I was with you!!" She yelled.

Now this turned into a fight.

"How bout, 'I forgive you Jack'?!!?" I yelled at her.

"Just forget this, You don't care about me so I'm leaving!!" She yelled right in my face, turned around, and walked away. I was so mad right now but yet I was so broken about this whole thing. I honestly really do love her and I can't let her walk away. But it's too late, she was so mad at me, I knew she didn't want to see me.. Did I just unintentionally let her go?
