Have you ever been dress coded before for something as little as showing your shoulders?
Well then you know how stupid it is.
If I ever get dress coded,this is what I'll say:
Instead of making us feel shameful and hide away our bodies just for "guys to not be distracted" how about you let us be confident,wear what we want and teach guys to stop thinking and looking at girls as if we are sex objects. I didn't know that legs distract guys. I didn't know that shoulders distract guys. I didn't know collar bones distract guys. It's funny how girls have a much more strict dress code then guys. We can't wear tank tops but they can wear muscle shirts? We can't have rips in our pants even with leggings under near but they have have holes in their pants and sag? Are you kidding me?!! We should have same dress code. Not have different. It's really pathetic how schools teach girls to hide away their bodies and teach boys that it's okay to look at girls. This school district is absolutely pathetic.

Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself and say something like that. If that's what you believe in,then put it out there. Make it known. Make it heard. Doesn't matter what the subject of the issue is. If you believe in something, put your opinion out there. Make it heard.
