Chapter 99(Mori)- For First Love

Mae gasped out as she looked up at the familiar house.

She didn't even have to knock. The door swung open. The towering host stood before her.

"Uh you-" she scratched her head.

"Sorry." He bowed.

"I-"

"Im not engaged."

"I know."

Mori looked away leaned his head on the doorway. "Mae," she held her hands in front of herself. "I just want to be with you."

"Why?"

"Why?" He repeated then smiled at her. "It's always been you."

"It's always been you too." She flashed a smile back to him finally feeling made stable from the run.

"Mae." He frowned then looked at her. "I should have gotten back with you."

She nodded then sighed. "Well now is your chance."

Mori grinned at her and quickly sealed the night with a blissful kiss.

'This,' she thought. 'This is who I want to be with.'

She would go on to inform her friends the next. Getting a few mixed thoughts on the idea.

Yuri told her she had been planning for them to get back together for awhile now. However Haruhi told her she'd hope she'd find someone new.

Hikaru and Kaoru simply shrugged their shoulders. Apparently they knew it would happen eventually.

Honey ran into the host club the next day and spent at least 10 minutes sticky talking his head off about how happy was for them. He later informed Mae of his engagement to the girl from the black magic club. Oddly enough the two had fallen for each other. For another 20 minutes he talked about how cute she was and showed pictures. Chika glared at his brother from afar and was held back by Satoshi.

Satoshi was enthusiastic one on the relationship as well. He told Mae personally that she would be the best sister in law ever. Which of course brought heat to the hostesses face.

Time went on as it always had in the host club.

And Mae's days seemed to be peaceful. She and Mori would sit out by gardens and amuse themselves at the picturesque view.

Then the two would sometimes practice kendo together. Mori of course felt proud to teach Mae and he could picture himself one day teaching a class with Mae as his wife by his side. In their future this would soon become a reality.

"Mori!" Mae burst out as they sat on a balcony at a resort. She stared at the boy on his one knee and couldn't believe it.

On the balcony several exotic flowers covered the railings. Then a small one was placed behind her ear by none other then Mori himself.

"Mae Fujioka." He cleared his deep voice. "Please marry me."

"Mori-"

"I want to spend every day of my life making up for lost time not being by your side."

Her lips turned upward and small tears trickled down her face. "Taka-"
