Unforseen Love

Chapter 4

I wake up, getting ready for the day. As I get out of the bathroom, I'm pulling my hair up into a loose ponytail as I walk down the stairs. I smell... Pancakes... AND BACON! I run into the kitchen and steal several pieces of bacon from a plate near the stove and go sit down at the closest chair.

"Someone likes bacon.." I hear Alexander mumble under his breath and I knew he knew that I heard him.

"Here, have some." I say, stuffing a couple pieces of bacon into his mouth.

He starts trying to talk, but I put another piece of bacon in his mouth so he's forced to eat it and he won't be able to talk.

Breakfast gets done and I am obviously the first one to get my plate, so of course I get the biggest pancake and get like... Well let's just say a lot of bacon.

I take me seat and dig in. I finish before everyone else, getting seconds and finishing it. I'm stuffed after this, so I go to the living room and sit on the couch and turn on some TV. Everyone else comes into the room and sits on the couch with me. Alexander of course has to sit beside me.

I turn on a movie which turns out to be a romantic movie so obviously Cass and Drew along with Jenna and Sam start making out. Gross..

"You're halfway there, get a room." I say to the four of them and obviously they leave.

"You want to get a room too?" Aaannndd that was Alexander.

I smack him on the back of his head and turn on a different movie, this one being more an an action-thriller type.

"So.. Are you two gonna make out or something?" I hear someone say from behind the couch and I jump, turning around to face the person who was eating popcorn.

"Ew, no. Make out with this dimwit, heck no." I say as I point to Alexander who was clearly not amused.

I look at this person's features, he had dark brown hair and blue eyes which were slightly darker than mine. He looked quite familiar, but I couldn't quite put my finger on who he was. Clearly he recognized me as well and gave me a questioning look before actually saying something.

"Ashley?" And then it clicked, I knew this face anywhere... It was my cousin, Austin... Who also happened to be an idiot.

"Austin!" I exclaimed, climbing over the couch and giving him a hug which he returned. Alexander was not amused and I could hear him growl from his seat on the couch. What's his problem, geez.

He ran over to me and took hold of Austin's arm and half-dragged him outside where he started yelling things. I could tell his wolf was in control and I also knew he was jealous. I stand in the doorway and watch them, not wanting to interrupt.

The first one to shift was Alexander and he began circling Austin as Austin had been reluctant to shift. After a while, he did shift and let me tell you something, I was very surprised at this. He had shifted to a panther... I almost fell down die to how shocked I was. They were about to fight when I just cut them off.

"Would you two cut it out? Austin is my cousin. Geez, you overreact about everything. Calm the heck down." I say as I turn around to go back to the couch, taking Austin's bowl of popcorn and sitting down.

I finish his popcorn and realize they still haven't came inside, so using my great mind, I decide to go hide. I go to the kitchen and open cabinets to see if one) I can fit and two) if they're empty. I find one underneath the sink and get in, closing the door. I hear the two walk inside and stifle a laugh as I didn't want them to find me.

"Where is she? She was literally in here like just a second ago." That was Austin.

"Ashley? Ash?! Where are you?? Say something!" I realized Alex (yes, I said Alex because I am tired of saying his full name) was worried, but clearly my mind didn't want to cooperate so I yell out song lyrics as what he said had triggered the lyrics in the first place.

"Say something, I'm giving up on you!" I pretty much yell and fall out of the cabinet in a fit of laughter. To make matters worse, Alex starts tickling me because he said and I quote "You scared me! You need to be punished!" And his punishment consisted of tickling me. I was squirming around as I couldn't help it.

"S-stop.." I say as he doesn't stop and I keep laughing.

"Not until you say.." He thinks for a minute. "That I'm sexy."

I mentally smirked and reply with. "That I'm sexy." Not the answer he wanted, but it was the answer. He stops and helps me up. Muttering this game under his breath.

"Movie night!!" I yell and jump onto the couch.

"Every day is movie night with this girl.." I assume Alex tells Austin and soon enough we're all watching movies. And too soon, I fall asleep.
