Unforseen Love

Chapter 10

I wake up and look around, seeing that Alex was sitting on the bed while I was still on the floor. I glared at him and he just looked back at me with amusement.

"How long was I asleep for?" I ask as I get up, stretching.

"About an hour." He shrugs.

"Well, I'm going to get some food and then I'm coming back here to watch a movie." I say as I nearly run to the kitchen.

I bump into my brother who just stares blankly at me, my little sister running up to me. She jumps in my arms and I pick her up.

"What?" I say to him in an annoyed tone and he just rolls his eyes and walks away. I put my little sister down and she runs off after my brother.

Now that that's out of the way, I grab some snacks and head back upstairs and into the room.

"Finally!" Alex exclaimed as he grabbed literally all of the snacks from my hold.

I narrow my eyes. "I got those snacks for me. You cannot take them all."

He laughs and throws them on the bed as I turn on the movie 'The Goonies'. We had eaten all of the snacks by the end and Alex had fallen asleep.

I want to go for a run, Luna whined at me.

Really? This late and you want to go for a run?

Yes! I want to go for a run! Luna exclaimed and I reluctantly agreed.

I ran downstairs, making sure no one was watching me and I snuck outside. It was almost midnight, so I could hardly see anything in my human form. So as fast as I could, I shifters into my panther. Luna took half-control and I was still partially in control in case something got out of hand.

Luna took off into the woods and didn't stop. She kept running and eventually got us lost.

Seriously, Luna? This happens every time we go for a run. I scold her.

I'm sorry.., She says back, upset at me.

I look around and see nothing familiar, but as I was turning, I heard some twigs snap.

I turned quickly to face the direction the noise came from and saw nothing. After a while, a figure appeared from behind a tree and Luna hissed at him. I knew it wasn't someone I knew, I knew it was a bad person.

Luna, do you see a weak spot on him?

Um... Anywhere could be a weak spot..

This man shifted to a wolf, walking closer. His wolf was pitch black and he had golden eyes. The wolf snarled as it inched closer. I was now completely back up against a tree. I couldn't think clearly because I was completely terrified of this person.

All of a suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in the side of my neck and I fall down, submerging into the darkness.

I wake up on a bare, concrete floor and appeared to be in some type of cell. My hands had some type of cuffs on them which resembled bracelets more. I had no idea how I got here, all I know is that I was in the woods in my panther form and this werewolf guy walked up to me.

I knew that these cuffs would disable my abilities, but i hoped I could still speak to Luna.

Luna, you there? I questioned.

No answer.

Luna, I can feel your presence. Please answer me.. I beg her.

What? What do you want? She says angrily.

Oh thank God. I though these cuffs blocked our communication. And Luna, you need to calm down.

How can I be calm when I'm the reason your here?! She shouts at me.

I don't care if your the reason I'm here, I just want to talk with someone.

Well, talk to yourself. I'd rather be alone and not talk right now. And then she blocks our communication... How lovely! (Note the sarcasm)

My thoughts wandered to Alex and then I realized that I may never see him again. I began to panic and think of every possible scenario there was. After too much thinking, I just begin crying.

After quite some time, I had cried myself to sleep.
