Choices

Chapter 1

"7am waking up in the morning, gotta go downstairs," Becca, my best friend, does her Friday ritual by playing Friday by Rebecca Black to wake me up. She comes to my house early everyday to get ready.

I am Haley. I am 5'7, blue hair, and blue eyes. Blue hair? I like to be the odd one out. Becca is my best friend. She has brown hair, green eyes, and is an inch or so shorter than me. We have been best friends since we were newborns, we are in 12th grade now.

I put on my makeup and did my hair while Becca was gossiping about the latest news at school.

"Lindsay dated four guys total in two days." Becca told me. Lindsay was the popular. She had her own little group that gets larger by the year. She grew up in a rich family. Becca and I don't really like her.

"Four? Wow. Would that make it all of the football team in a week?" I laughed hard. She did too. I stopped laughing, but she was still laughing. I looked in the mirror, my mascara got everywhere.

"Whatever." I laughed as I cleaned up the mess I created.

We ate breakfast. I grabbed my car keys and we walked out to my Ford F150. I like my trucks. I drove us to school.

I pulled into the parking lot and grabbed my backpack.

"Becca." I looked at her.

"I know. I know." We looked at each other, then back to... them. They are Hayes and Nash Grier. Brothers. The guys Becca and I have crushes on. They have the bluest eyes and brown hair. I like Nash. In kindergarten through 5th grade, we were best friends. Not as much as Becca and I were though. we would play video games in his basement and his mom would make us sandwiches. But going into junior high, I have no clue what happened. He just changed. We haven't really talked since then. Becca likes Hayes. He basically did the same thing to her as Nash did to me. After so long, he just started ignoring her.

Becca and I ignored them and went off and went to class.
