Chapter 10

Spring break ended. It was time to go back to school. I woke up and got ready. I could hear Becca shuffling around her room. I made breakfast, ate, an came back upstairs. I smiled. I was excited to go to school today. It was our first day at school since we are together.

I put on foundation, eyeliner, and mascara today because I wanted to look less tired. I curled my hair in soft curls.

"Good morning." Becca walked into my room.

"Morning." I told her. She was all ready.

"I'm ready."

"Me too."

"You're gonna wear pajamas?"

"Oh my gosh no. I'm really tired." I got up and changed into white skinny jeans and a black v neck shirt. I walked downstairs. I put on a pair of cute silver sandals.

We drove to school. I got out and smiled. Nash was walking into school.

"I'm gonna go find Hayes." Becca said.

"Okay." I started walking toward Nash. He was around his friends- Jacob, Sam, Jack J, and Jack G.

"Haley?" Someone said.

"Hey, Maddie." She's one of my good friends.

"Since when did you become famous?"

"I'm not famous."

"You are on all my social media sites. People are fangirling over you. You're trending. Hashtag I met Haley."

"Woah. But I'm not famous. Just we'll known." I've never liked the word famous for some reason. I makes people seem like more of a priority than us.

"Okay." She walked over to Jack G. They have been dating for a couple months.

I walked over to Nash.

"Hey." I told him.

"HI." He responded.

"Haley? What are you doing here?" I heard a snotty voice. Of course. Lindsay. I hate her so much.

"I'm standing over here." I said.

"Why? You like Nash or something?" She smirked.

"We're dating." All of his friends gasped.

"How'd you manage to do that?" Sam asked Nash.

"I don't know." He put his arm around my waist. I smiled. Lindsay look pissed. It was quite amusing.

"What do you know about relationships?"

"More than you."

"Did you know-"

"Quit talking, Lindsay. The smartest thing that ever came out of your mouth was a dick." Everyone was shocked. She huffed and waked away. I went to class.
