Chapter 29

Matt and I woke up after we fell asleep. We were cuddled together. It was 11pm.

"We should just go back to sleep." Matt requested. I shook my head and went back to bed.

We woke up at 9am. Matt and I cuddled for a while. It was amazing.

"Haley?" Becca asked. I didn't even hear her walk through the door. Matt just continued to lay down.

"Morning." I told her.

"Good morning. You know you can leave right now right?" she told me.

"Mhmm. I'll leave at noon to get ready for the Prom."

"Okay." Matt sat up and stretched. He made a dinosaur sound he is famous for in his vines. I smiled at him. Lena walked in.

"Would you like breakfast?" She asked. I nodded.

"What would you like?"

"Eggs and cheese on a bagel please. And orange juice." She wrote it down and walked out of the room. Matt walked to the bathroom.

"Are you two together?" Becca whispered.

"I don't know." She looked at me. I looked back at her for a while until Matt walked back out.

"I'll be back in an hour. Then I can take you back home if you want? Since you can leave today." I nodded and smiled. He left and Becca sat next to me.

"Maley." She laughed. It took me a minute to realize what It meant. I laughed with her.

"But seriously, you aren't dating?"

"Not that I know of." Lena walked through the door with my breakfast.

"Will you be leaving today?" She asked.

"As soon as someone comes back, I will." She nodded and walked out to assist another patient. I ate and Becca had to go run errands with her mom and her brother.

I turned Skinny Love by Birdy on.

The song was interrupted by Matt walking through the door. are song played. He had flowers and a bear in his arms. He walked up to me.

"Haley?" He asked.

"Yeah?"

"Will you do me the honor to be my girlfriend?" His cheeks flushed red. It was adorable.

"Of course." He set the flowers down and hugged me. I hugged him back. He pulled away and looked at me, then my lips. I smiled as we inched our faces closer. Eventually our lips met. They moved together as if they were made for the other. I smiled into the kiss. He pulled away and smiled.

"Let's go home." Matt said. I nodded and grabbed all my things. He helped me grab the things in got from the guys. After that, we walked to the front desk and I signed out. Then we walked out to his truck.

Once we got in, he pulled out a sharpie and motioned for my arm. I forgot I broke my arm. How could I forget that? He signed 'Matt❤️'. I loved how he drew a heart after it.

"Want to come to my house for a little bit?" He asked as we drive away from the hospital.

"Sure." I nodded.

"I live with Taylor, Shawn, Nash, Carter, and Cameron. Not really Nash, but yeah. So if they are there, don't mind them." I giggled. We drove to his house and pulled in.
