Chapter 46

*Taylor's POV*

Matt just proposed to Haley and she said yes. Now it was my turn. Everything is set up. Am I really going to do this? Am I doubting myself? No, you're afraid of rejection. Go get Becca. Do it. You're ready.

"Becca?" I asked her.

"Yeah?" She responded and smiling that gorgeous smile at me. I can't help but fall in love with her again and again.

"Come with me on a walk? I have questions.."

"Uhh, sure." She seemed confused. Her eyebrows furrowed. I grabbed her hand and walked her to the path in the back yard. It was dark and the path was lit with candles. Thanks Matt. The water in the fountain glistened from the moonlight. I sat her down and told her to find the Ryan's Belt constellation. I used that time to get down on one knee. Soft music flipped on. Strings of lights that split from the middle of the fountain and went off to surrounding trees flipped on. It was gorgeous. Did I just say something was gorgeous? Woah. She looked at me.

"Becca. I know I'm not the best person in the world. I know I can't give you riches and golds. I know I can't offer you the world. But I can offer you me. And everything that I can do for you. You have made me one of the happiest guys ever." She started crying. Hopefully she won't reject me. I felt a tear roll down my face.

"Becca, will you marry me?" I looked in her green- colorful eyes and felt my blood rush through my body. Seconds feel like years.

"Yes!" She shook her head up and down. I stood up and picked her up carefully, knowing that there was my son inside of her. I set her down and we hugged. I had my arms wrapped around her waist tightly and her head was buried in my shoulder. I put deodorant on right? Oh god..

"Taylor, I love you so much." She smiled at me and wiped her tears.

"I love you more than your love for the Michigan Spartans." She smiled more and hugged me again.

We sat out there for what felt like minutes but was an hour. We walked inside and Becca ran to Haley.
