Chapter 33

After more singing and laughing, Matt and I went back to his room. It was 2am. He laid down on his bed and I hopped in next to him. He wrapped his arms around my torso. I laid my my hands on his chest. The blankets on top of us were light, so we weren't hot. He put his head in the crook of my neck. I smiled as I shut my eyes.

"Good night, babe." He whispered.

"Good night."

"I love you."

"I love you too." We both fell asleep.

I woke up to Matt telling me to get up. It was 11am. Matt does online schooling so it doesn't matter what time he gets up. Becca told me that we both signed up for online schooling because we joined the group. I guess because of the accident, I forgot some things. Becca would just remind me because she is an amazing friend. I don't know what I would do without her, honestly.

I walked downstairs to see Shawn shirtless, strumming his guitar quietly on the couch. It's weird seeing him shirtless because he is always, always, always wearing shirts. I sat across from him on the couch. He looked up at me.

"Good morning." He said.

"Good morning, Shawn."

"Do you know how to play?"

"I wish, I want to learn. My dad always played and he wanted me to learn."

"I could teach you?" He requested.

"Sure, thank you!"

"One second." He ran to his room and returned with another guitar, just like his. I sat next to him on the couch. He showed me how to do a chord.

After an hour, I was able to learn Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran along with some other songs.

"I can't thank you enough." I told him.

"You can. And you're welcome." He softly laughed.

"What's going on in here?" Aaron asked.

"I'm teaching Haley to play guitar." Shawn announced.

"Nice." Aaron walked into the kitchen.

After a half hour, everyone was up. They were either in the kitchen or in the living room.

"Haley?" Cameron called from the kitchen.

"Yeah?" I walked into there.

"We have a question." He gestured to all the guys.

"What is it?"

"Would you like to move in with all of us?" I smiled.

"Yes!" I smiled and hugged all the guys. I ran upstairs to Matt's room. He was on the bed with just shorts on. I giggled.

"I'm moving in!" I smiled.

"Yay!" He stood up and hugged me. I was lifted off the ground. He sat me back down. Matt had something about him that made him honestly amazing. He seemed so romantic, yet so funny. Mysterious, yet open. And something about that made me fall deeper and deeper for him.

"Let's go get your things." Matt said after a while.

"Okay." We walked to my house. I opened the door. Was I ready to move out? I've lived here for a while and the tree fort and everything.

"It will be fine." Matt whispered. He probably knew what I was thinking. He hugged me from behind. His head was rested on my shoulder. I held his hands. He let go and we started packing. I only had about 5 boxes if things total in the house, besides furniture. I figured I'd leave it for the next person. So I did.

After we were fine packing, we walked the boxes to the house. I felt a rush run through by body. I smiled. We walked in the door. We set the boxes in the living room.

"Where is my room?" I asked Cameron, who was like the 'leader' of the house.

"Follow me." He said. He walked up the stairs and down the hall. It was the last door in the hallway. My room was by Cameron's room and the Jack's room. He opened the door. The room was large and had a beautiful view of LA.

"Thanks so much." I told Cam.

"You're welcome. You're part of the group now." He slung his arm around me. He walked out after a couple minutes.

I brought my boxes upstairs and started to unpack. There was already a dresser, a bed, and a desk in the room. I put all my spring and summer clothes in the closet and all my fall and winter clothes in the dresser. Then I set all my makeup and hair things up on my desk. I made my bed with my pillows and blankets. It felt nice to live here with many other people.
