They walked us in the really fancy restaurant. We waited until the waitress show us to our seats. We sat in the corner.

I sat down and Becca sat down next to me. Nash sat across from me and Hayes sat across from Becca. I see the way Hayes looks at Becca, he likes her. I smiled and looked at the menu.

"So, how've you been, Haley?" Nash asked me.

"I've been doing fine. Yourself?"

"I've been pretty good."

"That's good." The waitress walked up to us.

"Hi, my name is Kiera. I'll be your waitress for tonight. To start, what would you all like to drink?"

"Water." I said.

"Same." Becca replied.

"I'd like a Pepsi please." Hayes said.

"I'd like a Sprite." Nash told the petite young lady.

"I'll be back in just a minute with your drinks." She told us as she walked away. Nash and Hayes glanced at each other and smiled largely.

"Becca?" Hayes said.

"Yeah?" She replied. Hayes pulled out a half a dozen roses and a box of chocolates.

"Will you.. go to Prom with me?" She smiled and started blushing. I was so happy for her. I looked over and Nash was recording the entire thing.

"Of course." Becca said cheerfully. She was so happy. I haven't seen her this happy in weeks. They both stood up and hugged each other. I snapped a picture and my phone.

"Haley?" Hayes asked.

"Yeah?"

"Can I sit next to Becca?"

"Sure, yeah." I stood up and moved next to Nash. I couldn't stop smiling, to be honest, I didn't think no one could stop smiling. The waitress arrived with our drinks.

"Here you guys are. Have you decided what you would like to eat yet?" She asked politely.

"Yes, ma'am. I'd like the classic cheeseburger with some fries." Nash said. Hayes agreed.

"I'd just like the salad bar, please." I said.

"I'd like what the guys are having please." Becca chimed.

"Alrightly. Menus please. I'd be back soon with your meals." She walked away and we all just sat there smiling.

"Just the salad bar? Oh wait never mind. You're still a vegetarian aye?" Nash said, interrupting the silence.

"Yeah." I giggled.

"I remember when you would come to my house when my mom would babysit you and you always had the meatless sandwiches. I would always want to have the same so I would be vegetarian for a meal." Nash laughed.

"Then you would run and tell your dad you were a vegetarian and he would laugh."

"I would get the leftover meat after you left." Hayes chipped in.

"Those were some good times." I smiled.

"I miss those times." Hayes told me.

"I do too." Nash and I said at the same time. We laughed.

"So Nash, who are you taking to Prom?" Becca asked.

"I don't know yet." He took a sip from his drink.

The waitress arrived with our food.

"The salad bar is right over there for you." She told me.

"Thank you." I replied.

"You're welcome." She walked away to assist the other tables.

"I'll be back in a minute." I got up and walked to the salad bar. I made my plate and walked back. Everyone was laughing.

"What did I miss?"

"Hayes spilled his drink on me." Nash was laughing hysterically. I sat down.

"To clean it without spreading it, dab instead of wipe."

"Are you a clean master or something?" Hayes asked.

"Actually, your mom taught me that, and I guess it just stayed with me." He laughed.

We ate our dinner, paid, and walked to the car. Nash drove us back to my place. Nash opened the door for me and Hayes opened the door for Becca. It was sweet. They walked us up to the house.

"Thank you for dinner." Nash and I were standing on the porch, while Hayes and Becca were by the car.

"You're welcome." Nash replied.

"It was a great night."

"It was. Again Friday night? Just us?"

"Um, sure." I smiled.

"Good night, Haley."

"Good night, Nash." I opened the door, I turned back around and saw Hayes and Becca.. Kissing? Oo la la. I walked in and sat on the couch.

Best night ever.
