Chapter 30

We walked into Matt's house.

"Haley!" Shawn yelled as he stood up.

"Haha, hi!" I told him. I gave him a hug.

"What are you doing here? And without Nash?" Cameron asked.

"First, Nash and I broke up. I'm here because Matt had to get something before I get ready to go to the first Prom." They all nodded and continued what they were doing. Nash walked in the room.

"Carter, can I use your car to pick Haley up?" He stopped when he saw me. The room silenced.

"Why'd everyone get quiet?" I asked. They all just looked at me.

"Matt, can we go now?" I asked him.

"Uh sure." I walked out the door and back to his car. I rested my head on the window. Matt waved to the guys and walked out to the car, laughing. He turned the radio on. We drove back to my house. No one was there.

"Thank you." I told Matt. He lifted my chin and kissed me.

"Love you." He said as I left.

"Love you too." I walked into the house. It was quiet. I ran upstairs and called the girls. They said to meet them at Starbucks.

I did smokey eyeshadow, black eyeliner, mascara, foundation, and nude lipstick. After that, I curled my hair in tight curls. It looked pretty good. I put my mint green dress on. The heels I wore were also mint green. I put the now in my hair and walked downstairs. It took me an hour and a half to get ready. I went to grab my keys but I couldn't find them anywhere. I remember that I got into a car accident and currently don't have a vehicle. The first thing I did was call Jack Johnson. He told me at the hospital if I need anything, to call him.

"Hey Jack."

"Hey Haley. What's up?"

"I need a favor of you."

"Yeah?"

"Will you drive me to Starbucks? I have my first Prom thing there and I don't have a vehicle."

"Sure, of course, I'll be there in five minutes."

"Thanks."

"I lo-" He hung up. What was that? Whatever. I grabbed my purse and stood outside. Jack pulled up in his white Convertable. I got in.

"Thank you so much." I told him.

"No problem." He smiled.

After a few minutes, we were there. I was really excited.

"Bye." I told him.

"Byeeee." I turned around and I saw him staring at my bum. I giggled and walked up to the girls.
