11 - The moment she accepted death

At exactly 8:30 in the morning, we went to the West Shore dahil 'yun ang sabi sa schedule. The description said 'Under the sea' and it sounded very interesting even though I'm not really fond of the sea.

Everybody was gathering with their respective groups, most of the girls were wearing a bikini, which proves my intuition correct.

We made a small circle wherein Nick stood at the middle as he made a roll call. I watched everyone as they raise their hands whenever they're called.

"Jin... Hobi... Maddie... Jennie... Samantha—"

"It's Summer—" I corrected, pero hindi niya ako pinansin.

"Jimin—"

"Nandoon pa sa grupo nila Lisa, nirarampa 'yung kakarampot na muscles niya." Singit ni Jennie. She's wearing a see-through kimono and inside it a colorful piece of bikini.

While I was wearing a long sleeved rash guard and a swimming short. Hindi naman sa hindi ako confident sa pangangatawan ko, sadyang ayaw ko namang i-'rampa' ang mga sugat ko sa aking mga braso. I don't want any drama, not now.

"Hala, ginayuma naman ata ni Lisa si Jimin." Sabi ni Hobi, he's wearing his beach shorts together with the rest of the group. As I have observed maayos ang pangangatawan nilang lahat, at kahit sinabi ni Jennie na kakarampot lang ang muscles ni Jimin, I would like to say the opposite. He has a firm body.

"Sino bang hindi mai-in love kay Lisa? Isa siyang d'yosa na hulog ng langit." Sabay ang pag flying kiss ni Jin sa direksyon ni Lisa.

I couldn't help but look at Lisa's group and see Jimin standing just right beside Lisa, smiling. He looked so happy, it was as if he's contented and he has everything he needed. But Lisa didn't even bothered looking at him and she looked irritated.

"Nasan sila Justin?"

"Yo." We heard Justin's voice from behind and we watched him jogged towards us. Not like the other boys, he's wearing a white cotton t-shirt and a red beach shorts.

"Di mo ata kasama 'yung boyfriend mo. Asan siya?" Tanong ni Nick.

Boyfriend? Si Justin may boyfriend?

"Asan si Terrence?" Dagdag ni Nick.

Everyone in our team laughed and I made a soft chuckle. To them, Terrence and Justin were inseparable. Nasabi na rin nina Jennie at Maddie 'to sa akin na they were the best of friends for a lot of years na. They were the perfect definition of 'Friendship goals'.

"Masakit daw ulo." Tipid na sagot ni Justin.

I was disappointed, completely disappointed.

"Ha?" Nick's smile has turned into a frown. "Kanina lang ang hyper niyang nag ba-basketball, a"

"Malay ko doon." Justin said, as he turn his eyes on me and examined me from head to toe.

"Os'ya, magsisimula na ang second course for today. Buo na tayo. Ngayon, sasabihin ko na kung sino partners niyo. Hobi and Jimin—"

"Wala pa si Yuan." I fell a step back when I realized that that came from my own mouth. Maybe I wasn't thinking straight, kaya bigla ko nalang 'yun nasabi.

Everybody looked at me with a meaningful smirk pasted on their faces.

"Masasanay ka rin," Jin patted me on my back, "laging late nagigising 'yun kaya madalas hindi mo siya makikita ng umaga."

"Uyy! Miss mo na?!" Maddie teasingly said.

"No. I mean, napansin ko lang na wala siya tapos magsisimula na tayo..."
