Ate Prie clasped her hands as she stares at them while our father stood behind her while he put on his judgemental stare.

"Well..." Ate Prie swallowed. "I married him because father told me--"

"No." Father clicked his tongue as he approached ate Prie. She looked startled when he placed his arms on her shoulders.

He whispered something behind ate Prie's ears making her roll her eyes, but the second he lets go of her she took a step towards me and she looked me with her confident stare.

"I'm marrying him because I'm two months pregnant..." She stated, she stood firmly with her hands together and a wide smile plastered on her face.

I didn't know what to feel, I was shocked. She's marrying him because she's carrying Trevor's child. 'Yun pala ang dahilan ng mood swings niya, 'yun pala ang dahilan kung bakit ayaw niyang ma-stress. But...

"Does Terrence know?" My mouth moved by itself and ate Prie's expression shifted, she took a deep shaky breath.

"I'm carrying Terrence's child." She exhaled.

I covered my mouth as I gasp and I stared at her in disbelief. She must've been joking. She has to be. Then why on earth would she marry Trevor if she's carrying Terrence's child... How?

A chuckle came out from my mouth and it turned out to be a loud one.

I covered my mouth again as I heard it echoed in our entire house.

"You're kidding right?" I pointed at her.

But she maintained a straight face while she slowly caressed her stomach.

"You... You must be kidding." I said between my laughter. "It's impossible--"

"Impossible?!" The man who stood beside ate Prie started laughing hysterically. "Terrence is a boy and there is only one thing that drives a boy crazy. Luckily for Terrence, mas nauna siya kay Trevor..."

"Trevor thinks it's his, and we like to keep it that way. Kapag nalaman ni Trevor na hindi sa kaniya 'to, our town would lose a lot of potential investors, so..."

Ate Prie kept talking and talking but the words that are coming out of her mouth won't register to me. I suddenly felt light-headed and black spots appeared at the corner of my eyes as I tried to maintain my balance. But the last thing that I remembered was my whole body falling onto the cold marble floor and everything turned black.

I woke up at the sound of a door closing. I slowly opened my eyes and I squinted as it adjusted to the light. The first thing I saw was a brown wooden ceiling which is very much familiar to me.

"Hi, Sam." I felt the edge of my bed sink when someone familiar, sat on it.

"Maddie?" I exhaled.

I waited until my eyes adjusted, then I looked around and to see a very familiar place. A huge window beside me, a wooden bedside table on the other side, another two extra beds in between and a wooden cabinet in front of them. I knew I was back at the summer camp but since when?

"Nahimatay ka raw sabi ng papa mo," Maddie reached out to something on the table and she stretched it out to me, "gusto mo coffee?"

I refused. "Wha-what happened next? How long have I been—"

"Shh!" She placed her index finger between my lips, "Sabi ni Jace, h'wag ka daw mag papa-stress. Tinulungan niya akong alagaan ka."

Stress?! Stress? The only thing that came into my mind hearing that word is my pregnant sister. She's freaking pregnant with Terrence's child and she told me not to say anything or else they'll lose investors or something like that. What am I supposed to do?! Iniisip ko palang 'yun nai-stress na ako. And remembering what happened yesterday, I was just sexually abused in broad daylight! Anong sinasabi nilang h'wag akong magpapa-stress!?
