"Naniniwala ako na kung totoo ang nararamdaman mo para sa isang tao, hindi mo siya kakalimutan hindi mo rin siya lalayuan. Instead, tatanggapin mo nalang kung ano at kung saan siya masaya and isn't that a form of love?" Justin's eyes sparked with passion and sincerity.

"Sana ganun lang kadali 'yun." I forced a chuckle.

"I didn't say it would be easy, what I'm saying is that it will be worth it." He replied with a familiar smirk plastered on his face.

Just after a few seconds, I found myself genuinely smiling at him as he put a small smile on his face. I used to say that phrase.

"She's lucky. It would've been nice to feel loved." I said as I continued walking in the garden.

"You know, love comes in different forms, right?" I heard him following me.

I hummed as an answer. "Yeah, like you don't have to say 'I love you' just to say I love you." I added.

It almost felt weird and awkward. Saying the phrase 'I love you' to Justin... I mean hindi ko naman sinasabi 'yun para sa kaniya but the mere fact that I'm saying that particular phrase to him was very, very weird.

I was about to clear things up when I heard a car engine roared and we saw a black car parked at the far end of the garden. It was my father's car and we just watched him as he exited from the mansion wearing his tux.

"Summer!" His voice sent chills throughout my body. A moment ago, pinapawisan ako ngayon naman ay bigla nalang akong ginoosebumps.

"Sabihin mo sa ate mo may kaylangan akong puntahan. Kinaylangan kasi ako sa City Hall. If I'm not back on her wedding, you can start without me!" Sumakay siya sa sasakyan niya and just like that he left.

"Bakit naman kakaylanganin ang papa mo sa city hall ng 11 PM?"

"I was just about to ask myself the same thing." My voice almost cracked. He is obviously lying, which is something he is good at.

"Oo nga pala, what are you doing outside at this time of the night?" I said, forcing to change the topic.

Nahalata niya ata ang sinusubukan kong gawin because he smirked, but he just brushed it off and continued.

"Masyadong elegante 'yung guest room niyo, hindi ako makatulog ng maayos." He jokingly said.

I laughed.

"I'm not joking." This time he said it with a straight face that I almost feel bad for laughing at him.

"Oh, God. I'm sorry."

I was about to beg him for forgiveness until he burst out laughing, his laugh echoed in the entire compound that I have to shush him.

"You're going to wake everyone up!" I covered his mouth with my palm as I waited for him to calm down. It was too late when I realized that while the other hand was covering his mouth, the left one was around his broad and heavily built shoulders pushing him towards my body so that I could easily cover his full mouth.

I broke him free when I realized what I was doing, and I let out a nervous giggle. But he just plainly smiled habang inaayos ang kaniyang sarili.

It took me a second to realize that we had just been staring at each other for the past minute or so. I took a big gulp and I became suddenly interested in the leaves on the ground. I have always been this awkward around everybody, but around Terrence, no.
