Annoying doorbell rings, making me groan. Wilmer kisses on top of my head and gets up from the bed. I watch as he puts a t-shirt on his muscular chest and shorts, and then he hurries out of the room. I sigh and turn to the window, looking out of it. It’s a sunny day, we should do something.

After a few minutes Wilmer returns to the room. I turn around and see his frown face.

“What’s wrong?” I ask, sitting up. He sits on the edge of the bed beside me and shows me an envelope.

“It’s results.” He says, quietly, making my eyes widen. I watch as he swallows hard and opened the envelope. Our breathing stops for a moment as Wilmer pulls out a paper. He reads it slowly, probably more than one time and then he throws paper on the bed and walks to the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.

I sigh again and take a paper to my hands. I slowly read it, and then I realize what it says. Wilmer is the father. The baby is really his.

I feel tears in my eyes but I wipe them away and stand up. I have to support him, I have to let him know that it’s okay.

I walk to the bathroom and knock. When I get no answer I knock again, louder this time and finally the door opens. He wraps his hands around me and sighs, making me wraps my hands tighter around him. I know it’s probably the last time we are spending together but I can’t let him know what I’m planning.

“It’s okay.” I say, looking up to him. “Wilmer, you will have a child, it’s the biggest miracle, baby.” I try to make him happy and show the good side of things. “What about you go to the shop, buy food and I will make something to eat, okay? Then we can watch a movie, okay? Don’t be sad, Wilmer, everything’s okay.”

“I love you so much, Demi.” He says and kisses my lips before walking out of the room. As soon as I hear the front door shut, I grab my phone and find Max number. As I put my phone to my ear, I start collect my things from the room.

“Yes?” Finally Max answers.

“Come to my house as fast as you could.” I say and grab a piece of paper. I need to leave a note for him.

“What’s wrong?” Max asks.

“Just come here, okay?” I say and hang up. My things are in my bag, I need to change and write that note. So at first I change quickly and then I sit on the bed to write. I take a pencil to my hand, and take deep breaths. Tears are running down my cheeks because I don’t want to leave but I have to. I need to.

Baby,

I’m leaving because it’s better for everyone. I know you will be the best daddy in the whole world, and I can’t be more proud of you. I love you so much, but you have to be there for your child.

Bye, Wilmer.

My note is done and I’m almost to leave the room, when I see the ring on my first. Ring. I start crying harder as I take it off from my finger and put it on the note. I don’t need it anymore. I wipe tears from my cheeks, grab my bag and run out of the house. Max’s car is there already, I have no idea how he managed to come so fast, but anyways I don’t care. I sit in his car and he looks at me with millions question in his arms.
