My heart stop beating as these words reaches my eyes. I’ve heard wrong, right? I stare at Wilmer and see his worried face but I still can’t believe it. I shake my head repeatedly and Wilmer puts his palms on my cheeks to stop me from shaking my head.

“Shh” He whispers and leans closer. I close my eyes and take deep breaths, trying to calm me down. It starts helping a bit, so I relax and lean back on the couch. Wilmer wraps his hands tightly around me and strokes my back, until I am calm again. I push him away from me and want to run away when he grabs my hand and stops me, “Listen to me” He says calmly and I nod. If I want to change, I need to start right now. I sit down on the couch again and wipe the tears, which left my eyes. “That woman says she’s pregnant and I’m a father, but we don’t know if it’s true. But if the baby is mine, it doesn’t mean that I would leave you. We don’t live in middle Ages; I don’t need to be with her just because of baby, okay? I’m going to figure out what’s going on there and I will be back later. You won’t run from here, will you?” He asks.

“No.” I shake my head. I can’t help but start crying and wrap my hands around his beck, “I thought I lost you again.” I whisper and hide my face in his chest. He strokes my back again, trying to calm me down.

“I won’t let you to lose me again. We can make it” He wipes the tears from my cheeks with his thumbs and pulls my face closer to his. He gives a peck to my lips, “I have to go, but I will come back, I promise.” He says and waits until I nod. Then he stands up, picks up the keys of his car from the table, sends me a kiss and leaves.

I lay down on the couch, cover my body with a small blanket, which is still here after two years, and try to sleep. I know I will get really nervous if I won’t do anything, and since this house is almost empty, here is nothing to do.

But as soon as I close my eyes, the phone rings. I groan and pick it up from the table. There’s Max’s, my body guard, ID. Oh God, I came out of my apartment without telling him anything. He is going to kill me.

I swallow and press the red button on the screen.

“Hi Max” I say silently.

“WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED I AM? I NEED TO TAKE CARE OF YOU BUT IF YOU ARE RUNNING LIKE THAT I CAN’T DO MY JOB” He shouts on me and I giggle. Although I am his boss, and I am the one, who should yell on him, I don’t mind. Somehow we became some kind of friend, and I let him shout on me, truth be told I’m worth it. I came out and didn’t say him anything.

“Well, first of all, don’t shout on me.” I try to sound serious but fail and start laughing.

“It’s not funny at all” He is calmer now, although I still can hear how he takes deep breaths. “Okay, where are you?”

“I’m at my old house. Don’t worry, I’m okay. When I will want to go home I will call you. Oh and by the way, Max, could you do a favor for me?” I ask in my cute voice, he mumbles ‘yes’ and I smile widely to myself, “I want you to bring me chocolate, ice creams, and red bull”

“Okay, I’m on my way.” He says and I hear how he starts walking.
