the the boys in suits kILL ME😫

1 month later

Madison

In just under two months, Brad is going on tour with the boys, which means I'm left with Pip - also known as the puppy that can and will chew anything in her way. She even ate a pair of my shoes and put a hole in Brad's jacket!

Anyway, right now I'm sitting in a small, comfortable chair that faced into the kitchen and dining area where Brad sat on his computer. Although he was at the other side of the room I could still hear the sound of the computer keys clicking every time he pressed them.

It's just silent. Pip is sleeping - for once. I'm on my phone and Brad is working. It's never been this quiet in ages, it actually feels nice to have some quiet time for once. I sound like my parents, ew.

I suddenly jumped when I heard the front door open and close, who could that be? Brad didn't shift, so I went to see who it was. Pip ran from her bed and towards the door - barking and jumping at the intruder.

I exited the kitchen/dining area and walked into the hallway to see Kirstie kneeling down to pet Pip.

"Hi!" She said in an excited manner.

"Hi!" I greeted back. I pulled her into a hug, we haven't seen each other since my birthday party - which was a while ago now.

"What are you doing here?!" I asked as Pip ran around in circles at our feet.

"James said he has some things to do today so I thought I'd come and see you, is Brad out as well?" She asked, it must be to do with the tour as it's soon and all of the boys seem to be busy.

"He's in the kitchen doing some work on his laptop, probably the same as James," Kirstie nodded, "Shall we go in the living room?"

••

Kirstie and I were sat with our backs on the floor and our legs draped over the couch, almost dying of laughter at what Kirstie and I are talking about. She had just told me the story of her and James' recent carry-on about how their extension on their house had caused Kirstie to be seen almost nude by several builders.

"I can't believe that! Did you manage to get away?!" I chocked, still struggling to breathe as I laughed.

"Luckily, yes, but it was a very close call! James wasn't happy, but he found it funny," I laughed again and so did she. This is what I love about having close friends - it's sad because I used to do this all the time with Lily but she just slipped away. I wonder how she is doing now... actually, I don't care. If she wants to see me then she can come to me. After all, I was the one who helped her go through everything, so I haven't done anything wrong.

"So, what have you been up to recently?" Kirstie asked, turning to face me. I turned my head to face her and she waited for a reply.

"Not much, just the same old stuff. My parents are desperate for Brad and I to have a baby-"

"Oh my god! Your children would be so cute!" Kirstie said with a huge smile.

"Thank you, but we're definitely not ready for that yet - I mean, Brad only just proposed! A baby isn't going to come for a while!" Kirstie nodded at me.

It was silent for a few seconds, but only until Kirstie spoke again.

"I wish James would propose to me," She whispered. I glanced at her, her eyes slightly watering but her smile was wide.

"Aw Kirstie, I'm sure he will - I've seen the way he looks and at you! He's deeply in love with you," Her face lit up as I said that.

"I know he is.. it's just.. I'm going to miss him when he goes away," She sighed, "I'm sure you're gonna go crazy without Brad - especially for that amount of time and with Pip."

"I know! Last time it was only a month! I don't know how I'm going to last nine months without him, we've been spending every second we can together so it's going to be hard," I frowned.

"When they go, we should have sleepovers every night! Have girl's nights in and order pizza, watch Disney movies and just be together while the boys are away!" Kirstie sat up, her face beaming with excitement but her eyes filled with sadness - probably because she's going to miss James a lot.

"Yes! That would be perfect! It would take everything off our minds and make us forget about anything that's weighing us down - we'll just relax and have fun together - as best friends," I smiled. She nodded her head aggressively and giggled, this had me so excited.

"What are you girls giggling about?" We looked towards the living room entrance to see Brad leaned against the doorway with his arms crossed.

"We were just talking about what we're going to do while you boys are away, we're gonna have sleepovers and watched movies every night!" Kirstie said excitedly which made me giggle.

"You're like children, both of you," Brad shook his head and rolled his eyes.

"Don't act like you're not! You're the one who looks like a seven year old!" I shot back. Brad acted unimpressed and sarcastically scoffed.

"I'm a year older than you! So HA!" He pointed a finger at me, I rolled my eyes and threw my head back.

"What are you doing? You look possessed!" Kirstie laughed. I started laughing, but since my neck was stretched backwards it came out in a weird way causing the three of us to laugh uncontrollably. Kirstie lay down on the floor holding her stomach, I lay flat on my back with tears running down the side of my face and Brad had fell to the floor clapping his hands.

(lol has anyone done that where you laugh but your neck is stretched? it's hilarious I died when I did it lol)

"Wait! Where's Pip?!" I said as I sat up. Kirstie and Brad stopped laughing and sat up with me.

"Pip!" Brad shouted down the hallway. A padding noise was heard from upstairs, the sound then came closer and suddenly a fluffy, messy looking Pip came running towards Brad, tackling him to the ground.

"Agghhhh!" Brad groaned as Pip licked his face and trampled all over him with her little paws. Kirstie and I sat and laughed until Pip came towards me and started licking my face.

"Karma," I heard Brad mutter while laughing with Kirstie.

"Oh, shut up!"
