Weeks passed and the next thing we know it's the day before me and the boys leave for tour. It came so fast, it feels like just yesterday we released the first album - now we're in the middle of writing a third! We've had countless meetings about tour next year and other countries we would love to visit and perform to, it's getting me so excited for the future. Also, the feeling of performing to people who love and listen to your music is a phenomenal feeling - the best part is when they sing back to us. I take the microphone away from me and point it towards the crowd as they scream the lyrics at us. It's the best feeling in the world.

Maddie is a lot better than she was a few weeks ago. Lily got the send off she deserved, but she's in a better place now and Maddie knows that. Once Christmas came along Maddie seemed to perk up a bit, she seemed happier and she started to smile more - which made me tingle inside. Wow, I sound like such a fluff, but I'm just happy that she feels better. We spent Christmas Day with Maddie's parents, my parents, Nat and her boyfriend, Emilia and Lena, the boys and some of Maddie's friends came over on the night and we had a party. It was great, it's good to get everyone together again.

I have my suitcases and my carry-on bags ready near the corner of our room, I checked the house multiple times not wanting to forget anything. Toothbrush! I need my toothbrush! I jog into the bathroom and grab it, shoving it into a shower bag along with shower gels, shaving cream (for his teeny moustache lmao), toothpaste and whatever else I needed.

I zipped up the shower bag and threw it into my open suitcase before zipping it shut. I got halfway round when it stopped, it wouldn't go any further. I groaned in frustration and put my left hand on top of the suitcase, trying to put pressure on it so it would make it easier.

It still wouldn't work! I stand up and put my hand on my chin, trying to think of ways to close it.

I could sit on it?

I sit myself on the suitcase but I was gentle in case anything broke or snapped. Once I got comfortable I turned around to find the zip and pulled it towards me. I squinted my eyes closed, trying my hardest to close this bloody zip. I broke out a sweat trying to do this!

"Need any help?" Mads said, smirking at me with her arms crossed. She leaned up against the door and looked at me in amusement.

"Almost... got it.." The zip FINALLY connects with the other side of the bag and I let out a huge sigh of relief. Who knew that would be such hard work? I wipe the sweat off my face and look up at Maddie. My beautiful fiancé.

"I can't believe you broke out a sweat over that," She walked over to me whilst laughing and sat herself on my lap. She swung her arms around my neck and looked into my eyes.

"It was harder than I thought, I didn't think I had that many clothes!" I replied. It was probably all of my shoes that took up the room to be honest.

"Come here," She whispered and pulled my face towards hers. Our lips closed the small gap between our faces. My eyes slowly closed as we continued.

I'm going to miss this when I'm away. The way she smiles, laughs, makes silly jokes, calls me names, her eyes and when she touches me. It's going to take a while to adjust to being without her for so long. The nights where we got no sleep because of what happens between the sheets.

(brad m9 calm down you child)

We disconnect our lips from each other's. I let out a sigh and look down. My gaze happened to land on the engagement ring on her left hand. It made my heart pound knowing that she is mine forever, the fact that we are going to get married - it blows my mind how I got this lucky.
