Third Person

2 weeks had passed. Lily's first birthday party was a success, friends and family came and the whole house was full. Brad and Maddie couldn't stop smiling, neither could Lily because of all the attention and presents she had got. For the rest of the week, the three just relaxed and had a few lazy days before Brad and Maddie decided it was best that they start planning their wedding - since they think it's about time they did.

So, while Lily was out with Anne and Derek for the day, Brad and Maddie sat down at the dining table and opened the laptop to look for venues. The couple pointed out a few, but they didn't really like any.

They continued to look for hours, until they finally found somewhere they both really liked.

It was an outdoor place, but there was an option for a giant tent. Obviously, not your normal tent you'd get at a shop, a big gazebo for shade or shelter. Brad and Maddie both looked at each other and smiled widely before looking further into the venue. It was a 40 minute drive in a car, so it's not bad at all - it's perfect for friends and family - especially for Lena and Lily.

"Look!" Brad pointed at the computer screen while almost stumbling off his chair, which made Maddie giggle. Maddie looked at the screen which read 'dogs welcome'. Brad's eyes literally lit up when he read those words, Maddie was also happy about that.

Brad and Maddie talked about dates and what month is best for them to have to wedding, also since it's outside they decided it would be nice to have it when it's not too hot but not too cold either. So, the pair decided on having a spring wedding. They didn't decide which date exactly, since they both said they'd speak to their parents first just for some advice.

After a long day of looking at venues, dates, times, dresses and suits (without the other seeing obviously), Brad and Maddie thought it would be nice to go out for a little walk while they still have some time alone.

After getting ready and locking the house up, the two locked their hands together and slowly strolled towards the park 10 minutes from their house. The park where the two first met.

Madison

As we strolled through the cool evening breeze, we embraced the comfortable silence we were in. Brad's hand held mine tight, which made a wide smile spread across my face.

I rested my head on his shoulder as we entered the park. It was empty, since it was quite late for children to be out, but it was nice. The sun was about to set shortly, which made the atmosphere more calming.

We eventually found a bench which was near the a little pond, the play park was to our right, on our left was fields and fields for dogs to run.

"This is nice." Brad said as he looked at the setting sun.

I looked at him and took in every feature. His beautifully smooth skin, his gorgeous eyes and just him in general. I'm such a lucky girl to have him.

"It is." I replied, taking my eyes away from his angel face and looking at the sunset.

To other people this might look boring - sitting quietly at a park watching the sunset - but to Brad and I, and others, it meant something. Small things like this are ones that are the ones that I, and also others, cherish.

After the sun had finally set, we made our way back to the house, taking a slow walk back. As we got there, Anne and Derek pulled up with Lily in the backseat. Her face lit up when she saw us and she stuck out her arms for me to pick her up. I kissed the side of her head and held her close as I'd missed her.

We greeted Brad's parents and invited them in, but they needed to get back home as Nat was out and didn't have a key. We said goodbye and unlocked the door, being welcomed by the warmth of the house.

We spent the night in, watching whatever boring show was on the tv while Lily played with her toys as she sat between Brad and I. She loved one of her new toys she got for her birthday, which was a tiger that rattled when you shook it, but her favourite was her elephant - she never goes anywhere without it.

I looked to my side to see Brad looking down at Lily. He looked so happy, which made me happy; it's just the small, genuine things that make me the happiest girl alive. Like I have said before - Lily wasn't planned - however, she wasn't a mistake. In no way, shape or form would I change anything. Since Lily came into our lives I feel like it's made Brad and I closer and myself more independent. I rely on myself more than other people now, because I have the huge responsibility of a child, but it's a good thing. Brad also has a lot more time on his hands now with not being with The Vamps anymore; which gives him the chance to bond more with Lily - which she needs as a father is an important role in a child's life.

Pip came trotting I'm from the kitchen with her ragged-up toy in her mouth and placed it in front of Lily. Lily laughed at Pip and grabbed the slightly soggy toy. We watched as Lily threw the toy across the room where it landed on the opposite side of the room near the tv. Luckily, the toy and Pip managed to stay clear of anything breakable - somehow.

After a few moments of laughing and chattering, we were interrupted by a knock on the door. I turned to Brad who looked confused with his brows furrowed and his face puzzled.

"Stay here." Brad said warily as he stood up.

I sat forward and grabbed Lily before placing her on my lap. Brad exited the room, locking Lily, Pip and I in.

I hear Brad open the front door. Nothing but silence for a few seconds - until I could hear chatting from one of them. I then heard Brad speak - I could tell it was him even though his voice was muffled through the walls and the door.

Who could it be?

I go to stand up when the door suddenly opens. Brad stood at the door with a flustered look on his face, like he had just been scared by someone or something.

Brad didn't say anything, instead, he stepped aside and let the stranger make their appearance at the door. I looked in the direction of the doorway and my heart almost stopped when I saw who it was.

"Hey, Maddie."
