◈◈ Jin POV ◈◈

"Have a good night Jin, Bye Jin," the guys said in unison, hugging me goodbye before leaving out the door.

I watched them exit my apartment, eyeing each one as they left. They had taken the news better than I had expected, especially Namjoon. It was odd for them not to pry or even go off on my choice of marrying the one person I hated most next to my own father.

I'd have to make sure to send them a bit of money as a present for so many years of friendship. Smiling softly, I realized how much I missed every one of them. Yoongi's constant groaning, Namjoon's crazy morning routines, Hoseok and Taehyung's randomness, Jimin's shy demeanor, and Jungkook's cockiness. We had spent several months living together after one of my fights with my father that now having them all be apart felt strange. We weren't as close as we use to but whenever we sat down for a meal or hung out it was as if we had never been a day apart. I was more committed to those six men than I was to any relationship I had ever had. I loved them like we were siblings, and for a while, that is exactly what they had become, my siblings. They were my brothers.

"Time sure flies by," I mumbled before closing the door.

I sighed, looking down at Princess who was now standing by my feet. Bending down, I gave her head a small pat, and petted her back, my hands radiating warmth from spending so much time near the stove.

"I sure do miss them, princess," I whispered to myself.

I stood back up, examining the now very dirty kitchen.

"Will they never stay around to at least help me clean up?" I sighed.

There were so many plates stacked high with cups tipped over, and beer can after beer can spread along the edges. If there was one thing I did not miss, it was cleaning up after them.

"Hm... I have some dishes to do, what do you say and help me out hu?" I said while glancing over at Princess.

It's as if I could hear someone mocking me from behind, my ears turning bright red out of embarrassment. The hairs on the back of my neck sprung up.

I had been feeling uneasy ever since I arrived home for some reason, and I wasn't liking the feeling of being watched. Pushing past it, I made my way to the kitchen, turned on the faucet, and began to wash the dishes. My hands felt sore from typing all day, moving empty cans here and three, and sweeping between each beer can I picked up.

Walking back and forth from the table to the sink, I began pulling up plate after plate, a stream of sweat beginning to form at the nape of my neck.

"And I just showered too, I feel like a mom at this point, I will fight those guys someday I swear," I mumbled to myself.

That's when I heard it.

It was faint but I could hear a small chuckle coming from the direction of the counter. I turned around quickly eying the place, trying to figure out where the sound came from. Seeing no one, I turned my attention back to the sink, the water still running through my hands. It felt uncomfortable, the atmosphere heavy. I hadn't really noticed it before since I was too busy talking to the boys but, it was bizarre. The feeling sunk in quickly after them leaving and it had been there before.

Once I finished, I placed the dry plates in the cupboard, walking away and towards the bed with Princess following close behind me. The feeling was soon replaced by a complete calmness.

The thought of Hani with another man this late at night entered my brain, making me sigh in relief.  While I disliked her, it was comforting to know at least one of us has been able to find someone to spend time with. Maybe she could finally let go of her self-hatred, I hoped.

"At least one of us is getting some."

I lay down and closed my eyes, hoping for time to go by as I tried to fall asleep quickly. My plans had been ruined anyway, what was the worse that could happen if I went to sleep? It wasn't as if I gained anything from thinking back to my failed attempt at romance. I gained nothing from dragging someone into my life. They could only suffer in a relationship with me.

Just as I was about to fall asleep, a loud knock interrupted me up.

"Seriously?" I mumbled, sitting up. Princess looked over at me from her bed, just as confused as I was. When I opened my eyes, I realized the lights had been all turned off, not even the kitchen light was on.

I usually left the light on in case Princess had to go to the restroom. She had a habit of whining if it was dark which was weird since she could see in the dark. I guessed even dogs were afraid of the dark.

Even so, my heart sank to my stomach out of fear.

My body filled with goosebumps while I walked over to the door, guessing it was one of the guys. They must have forgotten something. Walking to the door, I opened it quickly, "you must have forgotten to take some food with you-"

My thoughts were interrupted by a very drunk Hani pushing me out of the way and slamming the door behind her. The smell of alcohol was oozing out of her.

"Not him," she said.

"Hu?"

"I'm not one of the guys. I ran into them on the way here. I'm not one of them."

"I realize that, well hello to you too," I grumbled.

She rolled her eyes at me, walking to the dining room table to dump her things on.

Her purse, fur coat, and heels were now spread eagle on the table, my germ hating self pushing them onto a chair instead.

She walked to the refrigerator like she owned the place, grabbing several cans of beer the guys had left behind.

Walking back over to the table, she sat down, her legs spread eagle while she popped the can open and took a huge gulp of it.

"Ahhh," she gasped, scratching her belly to help her let out a burp.

"I swear, if the world knew how gross you were, they'd be offended."

"Ha, I don't give a shit."

I sighed, turning my back to her.

"Hey, where do you think you're going," she shouted, her hand slamming the beer onto the table.

"To bed, where else?"

"Come're," she choked out, her face flushed red as she used her finger to beckon me over.

"Don't you want to know why I'm here?" She asked, drunkenly.

"No."

"Yes!"

My body froze at the sound of an unfamiliar voice.

"Well then, good to know you want to hear Jinnie," she slurred.

"Yejun dumped me halfway through dinner. The son of a bitch thought it would be okay to shove it in my face that he had a new girl. Ugh, men. They're all the same," she grumbled.

I rolled my eyes.

Hani shoved a beer in my hand, looking over at the counter before placing a beer next to an open seat.

"You too, come here and sit down with us."

"What?" I asked.

Just as I said that the seat across from me moved, and the can popped open.

"What the hell!?"

🐨Okay, this is a short one.

I haven't had time to write bc I've been so distracted by a new video game I downloaded.

Hopefully, you still enjoy this though!

How do you think Hani knows that Y/N is there?
