I grabbed the swimsuit Jin had bought for me, my hands trailing the little black straps as I looked at the size.
I groaned.

Since we find out that Y/N committed suicide after finding out that her father had been the one to actually kill Jae (she didn't know Jae's name) and that she had been cursing at a dead man all because of miss information, when she tries to kill herself she is thinking about Jae and apologizing to him, hoping he can forgive her. Because she was calling out to Jin's brother's spirit she was taken to where he was to 'make it up' to him.
There's a bit of irony in the part of her being in a coma. See, Jin's father had offered Jin to take over a Hospital in Gwacheon in the Gyeonggi-do Provence, which even though I didn't touch upon in the book, is the same province where Jin's brother and Y/N's parents died, and also where the hospital Y/N is taken to is located at.

Easter eggs:
1) This (above picture) is a nudge at Jimin having a kid and his wife.
2) The mention of tulips gives a hint to what could be an alternative universe of this book which would be my book Tulips (to those who will be reading that book), but I'll explain that universe connection at the end of that book.
3) I tried emphasizing the memory aspect of the book mostly because I wanted to make sure you realize that a lot of the book is based on Y/N's memories. Everything happened because of her memories.
Memories are the way in which the dead speak to their loved ones before moving on to the "afterlife" in this book. Jin happens to be able to actually communicate with the spirits which is why instead of having memories of his family before they move on to the afterlife, he actually is able to see them and speak to them.
That's also why Y/N sees her parents in memory and not like Jin does, and also why she can't actually communicate with them. Those memories of the crash are not hers, but her parent's. This is their way of telling her to let go and move on.
4) 637 means "always and forever."
5) Hoseok's job will be important because he'll be connected in this universe and in the universe of the Hoseok Book I'm working on writing. The universes are the same for these two books.
6) Princess has Jin's Mother's spirit within her, and Jjangu has Jin's brother's spirit. The voices heard speaking to Y/N before she goes away are Jin's mother and brother's voices. The reason they are trapped as spirits in the dogs' bodies is because they are looking after Jin until he is able to not need them anymore.
7) Y/N suffers from depression. The last paragraph in Chpt. 26 speaks of how even though she is happy now, she still has a long way to go before getting over her parents loss (aka her depression), but it alures to her acceptance and willingness to actually attempt and get over it, which, when she had attempted suicide, she wasn't willing to accept it nor attempt and get over it. Before her suicide, Y/N was closed off to the idea of "moving on" with her life and letting the memory of her parents be just that, a memory. After the time spent with Jin, and seeing how hard he was working and living even after the death of his loved ones kinda gave her the courage to try and take a step towards recovery and acceptance, as well as being able to forgive herself for the things she has done and also give Jin the clarity he needed to finally let go of the grudges he was holding on. Jin grows as a person by being a bit less selfish and thinking of others before himself.
8) This is a spoiler in case I do make a prequel... Jin is right in believing his family and first love where murdered. Hani got the murder part spot on. However, Jin's brother did get killed by Y/N's family, yet the reason he got drunk is...... I'll leave that a secret in case there's a prequel.
10) Like Jin, Jae had a supernatural "gift." Jin may have the ability to speak to ghost but Jae had the unfortunate ability to be a vessel.
11) Chapter one is actually the memories Y/N recalls. So basically, even those memories have some lost memories that couldn't be recovered. This includes the memories of apologizing to Jin's brother. That's why when we see her actually remember that, it's all fuzzy until Jackson reminds her.
12) Y/N wanting cake in the hospital is a reference to the cake Jin was going to give her.
13) The woman with short hair and Ruby red lips is Hani going to see her. The. Mention of the dragon was wanting to see if Y/N remembered.
14) At the end of chapter 10 when Jin says: "Why do I have a feeling that we've met before.. Why... why do I have the feeling that you'rehere..." Jin means that it feels like when May, his first love, was around haunting him.
