CHAPTER  43....FINAL  PART

Kalpana  rested  well....before  the   wedding   ceremony.........she  was  excited  though  she  was  nervous......little  sanjana  was  such  a  darling  and  was  so  happy  to  see  her  mummy  in  wedding  attire...........the  wee girl  danced around   her mummy......looking  lovingly  at   Kalpana.......the  red  bridal  outfit  sunil  had  chosen  for  his  sister  in  law   made  kalpana   look   so  beautiful......that  made  Raghav     stunned  to  see  his  bride....Raghav  himself  was    dashing  in  his  gold  and  red  suit......the  few  close  friends  and  guests  were  slowing  gathering  at  the   foot  of  the  wedding  dais............
''Bhabi   ..you  look  so  beautiful........Sunil   praised....
Thank  you....''Sunil ...there  is  this   pretty  girl  near  the  pillar   who  simply  cannot    take  her  eyes  off  you......go  check  her  out  but  don't  scare  her  off
''Sunil  smiled  and  turn   slowly  to  see  who  it  was.........she  was   the  young  nurse  who  had   attented  to  him  while  he  was  hospitalised..Sunil  himself  had  been  attracted  to  her  while  lying  in  the  hospital  bed.........but  too  tired  and  sick   but  here  she  was  now......he  walked up  to  her
'Hi...i  wonder  if  you  could  help  with  the    garland  tray....''Sunil  said  indicating  the  tray  in  which  the  wedding  garlands  were  placed.....
'' you  are   rekha  right.....Sunil  went  on
'Yes  sir.......she  replied  nervously
'It  Is  Sunil.'''Replied   Sunil   cheerfully  ...and  this  brought  a  broad  smile  from  sulekha
she  stepped  from  behind  the  pillar  and  stepped  forward... and    walked  up  to  where  the  tray  and  baskets  of  flowers.......the  pandit  arrived  shortly  and  went  through     all  the  religious  items    for  the  wedding  ritual.........
Sheila  and  raj  kishen   the  couple  who  had  taken  kalpana  under  their  wings  long  ago......was  present  to  witness  the  wedding  ritual.....'
everyone   was  happy   and  joyous  music    drifted  in  the  air...
In  the  midst  of    celebration  a  plain   clothes  policeman  arrived  ...Raghav  and  Sunil    quickly  made  their   way  to  him'
I  hope  all is  in  good  hands    Inspector... Sunil  voiced  out  ..feeling  a  little  aprehensive.........
yes  yes.........there  is  no  need  to  worry  about  Rubina  Gupta.............she  is   safe  but  i  have  news  about  a  Dr  Arvin Shesadri...i  believe  you  know  him  Mr  Gupta
yes i  do......Raghav   clenched  his  fist.....how  could  he  forget   what  he  did  to  Kalpana....under  the  instuction  of  his  own  mother.
Dr  Shesadri's  daughter  Arpita    was  found  dead  in  the  bathtub  of  her  apartment  In Canada......over dose  of  Marijuana..........
Dr  Shesdari    and  his  wife   Anne..have  been  informed.......they  are  on  the  way  to   Canada.......he  is  devastated............and  he  told  me  to  apologise  to  you   for  his  deeds
''KARMA'.........said  Raghav  and   left  Sunil  with  the  inspector.......Sunil  was  engaged  in  conversation........then  the  inspector  left
the  wedding  rituals  began...........Raghav  sat  on  the  dais  and  performed    evertyhing  the  pandit  instructed  him  to  do....his  earlier  marriage  to  Kalpana  was  in  such  haste......that  the  evil  eye had  struck  them both...Raghav   woved.........to  take  care  of  kalpana  and  his  daughter
kalpana was ushered  by   sheila  Raj  and  all the  servants  of  the   gupta  mansion..........she  was  the  radiant  bride  and  had  her  daughter  to  witness  the  wedding.......Kalpana  sat  beside  Raghav  while  Sanjan   also  knelt  beside  her  parents............the  wedding  cermony began  Rekha  the  young  nurse     gave  the  wedding  garlands  to  Raghav  and  kalpana........Raghav  tied  the  mangalsutra  around  kalpana's  neck ..it  was  the  same  mangalsutra    which  he  had  tied  around  her  ages  ago....today  it  meant  the  world  to  both  Raghav  and  Kalpana.........the  seven  rounds   around  the  fire  was  total  promise   for  both  of  them..to  love  and  honour  each  other...........sanjana  kissed  her  mummy  and  daddy...Sunil  took  little  Sanjana  with  him   ....and  gave  her  the  wedding rings..which  she  carried  radiantly......Raghav  slipped  the  ring  on  Kaplan's  warm  finger  ....as  she  put  the  ring  on  his  finger  raghav  suddenly  felt  tears  streaming   down  his  cheeks.......Kalpana  cried  too......Sunil.......hugged  them  both...........the  well wishers   cheered  and  congratulated  the  couple......Shela   and  kishen     gave  their  blessings  and  were  happy  for  them......there  was  a little  uproar  suddenly  and  had  the  bride  and  groom  and  guest  laughing.........Chester  the  pet  dog..came  running  with  streemers  round  his  neck  as  though  he  was  also  celebrating  the  marriage......of  Raghav  and  kalpana.....music  was  on  and  lots  of  good  food  to  savour.......young  couples  danced .......while  Raghav  and  kalpna  watched........Raghav  took  kalpana.s  hands  in  his  and  kissed  her  palm..then  leaned  forward  to  kiss  Kalpana....'' kalpana  smiled  and  tried  to  move  away but  Raghav   stopped  her
''Kalpana  Deepti  Tejwani Gupta ...i am  kissing  my  bride.......no  one  has  any  say  in  this  matter....
Kalpana  smiled  and  began  to  relax..while  Raghav   did  not  leave  her  hand ......they  then  danced    ..while  Sunil  asked  rekha  for  a  dance  ..she  obliged.......and  with  a  happy  smile  on  her  face  .allowed  Sunil  to  lead  her to  the dance  floor..........Raghav    thanked  the  guests  as  they  began  to  take  leave,............after the  last  guest  left..the  maids  and  servants  were  told  to  gather........at  the  hall
''sunil    informed  that  they were all given   three  days  off to  be  with  their  family...............Krish  the  chaeuffer....stepped  forward  with  a little  bundle  in  his  hands
''my  son  Sir...he  was  born   yesterday.....i  want  him  to  get  your  blessing.
Raghav   stepped forward  and  carried  the  baby  in  his  arms.......and    smilled.........you  are  a good  baby..you  will  made  your  daddy  happy
kalpana  kissed  the  child  and  hugged  krish......he  has   protected  and will  always  protect    her  family   ....God ..bless  you ..krish......
Sunil  send    Rekha  home.......and  came  back.......he  was  happy  for  his  Raghav  and  kalpana...he  had   completed  his  mission.........everyone  was  happy.........
Dr  Mahesh  called  ..Sunil........"  Raghav  said  to  His  brother.....mother  has  totally  lost  it  i  feel  sorry  for  her.........both  Raghav  and  Sunil   hugged  each  other  the  mighy  Rubina  Gupta   ..was  not  herself  anymore..........i  don't  hate  her  anymore  Sunil.....i  have  forgiven  her  and  so  has  kalpana.......we  will  visit  her  someday.............
''yes  Bhaiya.....we  will......good  night.............Sunil  said  and  walked  to  his  room.......he  checked  on   Sanjana........she  was  fast  asleep...face  pink  ..she  had  been  very  excited......
Raghav  bid  good night  to  the  servants.......and    held    kalpana's  hand   ...then  changed  his  mind...and  lifted  her in  his  arms....and  kissed  her  on  her  temple
''Raghav...the servants  are  watching...Kalpana  began  to struggle..

Kalpana  wound  her  arms  around  her  husband's  neck  as  he  carried  her  upstairs  to  their  room.......the  room  was   totally  romantic  with  soft  lights  and  flowers  and  the  bed  was  filled  with   rose  petals......Raghav  kissed  her  and  slowly   let  her  feet  touch  the  soft  carpeted  floor......together  they  stood..and  watched  the  huge  potrait  of  a  sweey  young  girl....face illuminated  by  birthday candles......

''i  love  you  too  Raghav......Kalpana took  Raghav's  hand  and  placed  on  her   chest  close  to  her heart....
Raghav....began to  kiss  her  again.......then  took  her  by  surprise  and  kissed  the  soft  mount  of  her  breast..through  the  wedding  attire  she  wore

mmmmmmm kalpana  was   too   satiatated  to  say  anything.....they  slept  soundly   in  each  others  arms..........Raghav   woke  her  up  with  kisses  for  another  dose  of  romance...
and  exactly  nine  months   ...after  their  marriage  kalpana  gave  birth  to  her  second  child..a  baby  boy........who  looked  exactly  like  his  daddy
Raghav  held  his  son  in  his  arms......while  Sanjana  was  overly  excited to  have  a  baby  brother  and  kept  asking ..where  he  came  from
''the  stork  brought  in  the  baby  in  a bundle.....Princess...Sunil   replied  and  carried  her  in  his  arms....his  own  life  and  love  was  sealed  with  nurse  Rekha..
krish  visited......and   later     when  kalpana  was  allowed  to  go  home...........they  got  the  pandit  to   to  perform  rituals    to  protect  the  baby  and  his  parents  and  sister............two  momths  later.....Raghav   took  his  family  along  with  sunil and  his  wife,,to  visit  Rubina.....who  was  so  calm  and  looked  very  old..........''my  grandchild...she  nodded   .....and  gently  touched  baby  harish.........''''she  kept  repeating  to  the  nurses...my  granchild............Sunil  and  Raghav   ....wiped  tears......Rubina  Gupta.........how   god  has  changed  her  mighty  ways......
Rubina  waved  to  the  nice  people  who  had  visited  her.......they  were  after all    her  own  family...
Kalpana   leaned  on  raghav's  shoulder  with  baby  harish  in  her  arms  while  Sanjana  was  sprawled  on  the  floor  with  crayons......uncle  Sunil  and  aunt  Rekha   helped  her  draw  her  mummy  daddy  and  baby  Harish.....and  uncle  krish  and  dog  Chester  and  everyone    on  her  art  paper....
Raghav  put  his  arms  around  kalpana  'and  whispered   ''i  love  you...
