We were, apparently, running for our lives.

Too straight forward? Well, I couldn't really find what kind of sentence or description that would really fit the situation at this time, I mean with Luther on our heels, don't you think it'll be alright if I say this as flatly as I can?

Besides, everything happened so fast, I had to describe things from my point of view from when we were already escaping the return of Luther the zombie part 2 his vengeance, and mind you, it isn’t really easy you know.  I mean, an angry zombie chasing you down, and will most likely eat your guts wasn’t even an easy truth for my brain to just accept that easily.

But I guess you guys deserve a little rewind with the events.

I was hugging Kit Kat at the time while comforting her, and she was crying, but she didn't bawl, neither did she throw an outburst, all she did was cry silently on my good shoulder, and when you thought that it's already safe to probably turn your back, since he looked like he was seriously dead, that's when Luther decides to grab my foot, seriously, that dude has good timing alright.

And Adrian, well, he did his part by warning me and by swinging his plank of wood towards Luther, but I guess Luther the zombie was well aware of that because he held back the plank of wood and threw it away.

Then, you probably know what happens next, we ran, and just like a horror movie with a wild hooligan at our backs we knew we had to run faster, or else we get our insides eaten by Luther the zombie.

The sewer seemed to get darker by every minute we waste down here running.  Shadows bounced against the walls making me feel like my shadow wanted to devour me too.  And the smell was the same as ever making me feel weaker and weaker, or worse sick.

Yes, I knew the adrenaline that was pumping in my veins were helping my feet to stride my way outta here, but I knew that this wouldn't keep up for long, I lost blood, if not much, then at least it was enough to make you wish you just died through a bullet into your head.  And I was currently having a fever mind you, so I guess I'm as shocked as you are but I'm not really sure with how I've survived this far.

"We gotta get outta here!" Adrian yelled.

My heart sank, it was obvious that this was our only solution; sure the sewer wasn't a place that I would love to live in, like over my dead body I'd end up loving to live in this crap hole.  It's just that this place has become our solace, a place where we didn't have to worry whether a zombie was hot on our trail, or if we were gonna die already, our temporary hide out was somewhere where we were fed, even if it was temporary and we couldn’t really have a complete meal in a daily basis.

All I’m saying is, this crap hole, whether I liked it or not, has somehow become in a way our home.  And now, we were leaving it again.

Might as well get use to it, Caleb.  I thought to myself bitterly.

I suddenly skidded to a halt, which probably wasn't a really good thing to do, I mean with Luther and his strong appetite for flesh, I'd say I was so stupid to even stop running.  But I had a reason, and even if it did seem stupid, I just had to stop running.  Besides, I think I just found our way out of the sewer.

"Caleb!" Adrian yelled.  "We have to go!" he said, stopping dead in his tracks and so did Kit Kat.  They both eyed me out dolefully, more ever angrily, and as for Luther, well, he was catching up on us already, his eyes as bloodshot as ever and his mouth drooling with what seemed like zombie spit.

Gah, I promise, if this world comes back to normal I swear, the first thing I am gonna do like after I eat my American hamburger, is toothbrush.

I shook the disgusting feeling off me and stared at what looked like a red pipe leaning upwards, my hands fluttered towards it, and I smiled widely, now glad that I stopped by for awhile.
