Oh Luther, Luther, Luther, Luther, did you have to seriously catch up on us? I mean, right now, I'm starting to hate you so much I won’t mind killing you in front of your daughter Kit Kat, well, that is, if you still recognize her.  And another thing, why are you making our chances for survival thinner and thinner? What have I done to deserve this? Am I really that evil? Because so far I've treated you like my father! My family! So why are you doing this to us?! WHY?!

Okay, cut the drama.  That was so gay.

But anyway, Luther was already on the ladder and we were 'playing' like kids on a park’s playground filled with meanies.

For example, Luther, he's the bully, and I'm the innocent angel that gets to get beaten up for the sake of whom gets to try the slide first.  But you see, we weren't in the park's playground, nor are we fighting as to whom gets to slide first-we were currently trying to kill each other, and in this game, the one who dies first is the loser, and technically, loosing wasn't a freaking option.  So here I was kicking his hands off my feet, and he didn't like it at all.

"Are you guys done already?!" I asked, my eyes were seriously gonna come out of their sockets if they answer me otherwise.

"Almost done!" Adrian said triumphantly.  "Just one more push!"

There was a metallic thud, and I knew that there was still hope and that I wasn't going to die tonight.

"It's opened!" Kit Kat yelled, there was relief in her tired voice.

Just hearing her almost made my heart leap out of my chest.  Like finally! After eons and eons of waiting it has finally succumbed to open to us.

I glanced up and saw Kit Kat climbing out first, her feet disappeared and I knew it was Adrian's turn, and Adrian, as quick as always, already left in a jiffy, as for me, I didn't waste any time, I kicked Luther hard on the nose, causing him to probably, or hopefully stagger and fall head first thus breaking his skull into a hundred pieces, well, I wouldn't know though, since I was too busy climbing up for dear life.

I continued climbing up even if my shoulder felt like exploding with so much pain...oh, and did I mention how much my whole body ached badly for every time I used my bad shoulder for climbing?

Almost, that's the word that I want to use to describe my situation, almost.

I was almost out, almost free from this crap hole, almost free from this nightmarigh reality, but Luther the zombie decided to ruin my hopes when took the chance to pull my sprained foot down.

I yelled in shock, technically, I wasn't expecting that, and technically, I thought Luther would've blacked out with that kick.

"Caleb!" Adrian yelled, his hand outstretched, unfortunately enough, I was still too far from his reach.

Luckily for me, I held on fast to one of the bars, so I was practically able to grip on the ladder like a boss.

And as for my sprained foot, things weren’t really going well with it either, because even though it actually seemed like my sprained foot has healed, it hasn't completely recovered yet.  And since Luther was nice enough to be the bully he already is, he pulled me down, causing more pain to shoot through my body.

"Dude!" Adrian yelled. "Just grab my hand! I won't let you go!"

My heart melted, wow wasn't that a nice thing to say especially when it came from your brother and you are dangling from a bar, and most likely would let go if Luther over here, would be so kind as to not pull me to heck with him.

Luther tugged at me again and my fingers logically fiddled for a good hold to these bars.  Dang you Luther, just leave me alone! Pick someone on your own size! I thought angrily to myself.
