Remember how I used to be?
Will our song still sound the same,
When it's no longer about you and me?
Will the pain ever stop?
Shall our memories fade to gray?
Will we ever find the words,
To say the things we needed to say.
Shall our paths cross again?
Be seen through fresh new eyes.
Will our happy ending be rewritten
After so many failed tries?
Will you ever forgive me?
For the times I did you wrong.
Will our heart beats sound as one,
Or are we in tune to a different song?
Will we ever be the same?
Or are we simply done.
Did our friendship at all remain?
Or are you already gone?
