Sometimes in life
The pain just won't end
We try to get up
Just to fall down again
We roll with the punches
Take all accusation
Go with the flow
Though we need a vacation
We don't have a reason
Or don't have the time
We make up excuses
To justify standing in line
We aren't just winners
But failures for a cause
We aim for the top
To one day be the boss
No longer just soldiers
Puppets following others' formations
Standing in a line
With no need to ask questions
Planning our own missions
Pursuing new dreams
We grab an old fabric
And sew in new seams
We start from the bottom
In hopes for something greater
We'll get out of line
For there won't be a 'later'
