You sighed as your sister shoved you into her bedroom for what seemed like the hundredth time this week. For some reason, despite the fact that you did have a few acquaintances, your sister thought of you as the loneliest little girl in the world, and, in her mind, that was not a good thing. She was the one who picked you up from school - much to your dismay - and she'd developed a habit of inviting some of the people in your grade over to 'try and get to know you better.' You couldn't understand why most people wouldn't think that was somewhat creepy. But she was your older sister, and, of course, she had more authority than you did.
Your sister's voice drifted from across the hallway and into her room, where you were held captive. "Okay, okay, [y/n], I know things didn't go well with that boy yesterday, but I promise you you're going to love the girl I've brought today! She doesn't have many friends, either, so I'm sure you'll get along."
You scoffed. The people your sister had set you up with hadn't ever ended up friends with you - rather, they were somewhat scared of you and particularly your extravagant sister - and so she'd say something like 'well, it'll go better today' nearly every time she brought someone over.
"Okay, Annie, let's go!"
A little blonde girl, bored look muddling her face and a clump of blonde bangs covering one of her eyes, followed your sister into the room. She plopped down on the lounge chair near the door, resting her chin in her hands.
Your sister smiled. "Well, I'll be going now. You two have fun~!" And, with that, she skidded out of her bedroom.
Staring at Annie, you sat down on the bed, eyebrows knitting together. "Er...I'm sorry, my sister's weird..."
She said nothing back but nodded.
"Well...," you continued awkwardly, "she won't be coming back for a while, so..."
"[Y/n]. That's your name."
You nodded slowly, interested at her sudden sentence.
The slightest of smiles drifted across her face. "You were in my kindergarten. You got sent to the principal for punching that boy."
"He deserved it!" You fired back, causing her to chuckle a little, which, in turn, caused you to burst out with laughter. Perhaps this wouldn't end like it normally did.
