It was an early start on the set and I had to wake up at 5. The limousine was picking me up at quarter past, and was stopping to collect Alli on the way to the set. I honestly believed that my eyes were going to dislodge from my head, I was that tired. I hadn’t even bothered to do my hair or the light make up that I wear when I left the house, and as for clothes, well. I had thrown on a hoodie and some joggers and my Pastry shoes. I hugged my mum goodbye as she had stopped coming to the set every time with me and walked to the limo. When I got in the limo, I decided to throw my hair in a ponytail to at least keep some of my dignity for when the always flawless Alli joined me.

After about ten minutes, we pulled up at the gates of Alli’s house and I saw her waiting there with Cody. He looked like he was carrying a guitar case, but I couldn’t see through the windows properly, as my eyes were still in sleep-ish mode, and the tinted windows didn’t really help.

The driver opened the door and Alli jumped in and laid flat on the opposite side and Cody followed, putting what is now confirmed a guitar case on the floor.

‘I am soooo tired!’ Alli moaned, dramatically rolling on the seat.

‘I couldn’t get out of bed!’ I moaned too.

‘Stop moaning girls, I’ve done earlier!’ Cody laughed as he sat next to me. He threw off his shoes and rested his feet on the spare bit of seat that Alli wasn’t sprawled out on. Alli drifted off, and I soon joined her.

‘Guys wake up!’ I heard somebody say, before being pounded in the arm.

‘Holy mother of Buddy!’ Alli said before sitting up really fast. Me and Cody glared at her and she realised what she’d said. She just burst out laughing and so did we.

They started a few rehearsals, but I wasn’t in today’s schedule, so I went back to the dressing room to go over my script and to wait for Alli. I walked in and saw Cody sat on the mini sofa practising his guitar.

‘Hey.’ He said, stopping and putting his guitar down.

‘Hey, don’t stop for me!’ I said, grabbing a drink out of the fridge.

‘Nah, I’ve been playing for ages anyway! Haha.’ He said.

‘Working on something new?’ I laughed, sitting next to him on the sofa.

‘Just a little something.’ He laughed nervously.

‘Ahh, you’ve got to play me it now!’ I said.

‘No!’ He said.

‘That’s not fair!’ I laughed.

‘I’m not playing it!’ He said.

‘Aww, is it about a giiiiiirl?’ I said sarcastically.

He sat silently and I glared at him.

‘Maybe, I’m not playing it!’ He laughed.

‘Come onnnnnnnn!’ I said, hitting him in the arm.

‘No!’ He said, running to the other side of the room.

I walked as if I was going out of the door but turned at the last minute and jumped on Cody’s back.

‘Play it or I’ll touch your hair!’ I said as he ran round the room trying to get me off his back.

‘No! Hannah.’ He said, laughing.

‘Hand landing in hair in approximately 3… 2…’ I said, laughing.

‘FINE!’ He said, and I hopped down.

‘Win.’ I said.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me over to the sofa.

‘You’re not allowed to laugh, promise?’ He said.

He picked up his guitar and I got excited. ‘I promise!’

‘She’s got the wings of an angel,

And a halo above her head.

Her eyes sparkle quietly,

I left so many words unsaid.’

‘That’s it.’ He said, putting his guitar down.

‘Dude, that’s beautiful!’ I said. ‘Thank you!’

‘It’s a working progress.’ He said.

‘Aw, I’m sure whoever you wrote that for will be flattered!’ I smiled, giving him a hug.

‘You’re going to ask who it’s about now aren’t you?’ He smirked.

I nodded. ‘Read me like a book.’ I laughed.

‘… classified.’ He said.

‘Ay, that’s not allowed!’ I said.

‘I can’t tell you.’

‘I promise not to tell! I’m good at secrets, one of my only qualities!’ I laughed.

‘Don’t put yourself down like that, you have many qualities, I like it.’ He said before getting up and walking out.
