'End of filming, see you tomorrow for the last scene.' The director said as the bell rang to call the end of the days filming.
I walked/ half ran back to the dressing room with Alli, for me to see Cody and for Alli to check her phone.
'Hey!' Cody said as we burst in the door. I was just about to speak when he stood up and kissed me. It made me smile, but I was still sad about Melanie.
'Oh, you still remember my name then?' rang through my head. The way she had said it, the bitterness. As I thought about it, I found it hard to contain my tears, but seeing Cody gave my tear ducts new strengths.
'Man, I need signal! I'll see you in a bit guys.' Alli said as she walked out, on her hunt for phone signal.
'She's crazy!' Cody laughed as we watched Alli outside of the dressing room window desperately searching for signal.
'Alone at last.' He laughed, as he kissed me again. It was nice to feel like a normal couple, rather than people on the down low, even though being secretive added a bit of fun, well, I thought so anyway.
Cody put my arms out to my side and held them there, and started dancing, dragging me across the room as he jokingly swayed his arms from side to side. I let out the biggest laugh I have in a long time, and my cares seemed to drift away.
I let out a sigh of relief. I hugged Cody and buried my head in his shoulder. I felt him rest his head on mine, and we stayed like this for what felt like an eternity.
'Guys there are people coming!' Alli said as she dramatically burst through the door. I quickly let go of Cody and went and sat on the chair, staring at my phone. Alli was panting, I assume she'd ran to tell us, which it was clear Cody appreciated, and I did too.
There was a knock on the door and Alli opened it, only to show some magazine reporters who had come to interview us.
No way. To interview us. Alli and me. ME.
The interviewers came in and spoke to me and Alli together, writing down what we said and asking us questions. This was incredible, I was getting interviewed. I mean, Alli I could understand but me. This was beyond cool. I almost didn't want it to end, but it did, ten minutes later.
'You were amazing!' Alli said to me, giving me a hug.
'Woah, thank you! You were too, how do you stay so calm? I was freaking out on the inside!' I laughed.
'It definately didn't show!' She laughed.
'I am shattered!' I said.
'Same here, do you want to give the mall a miss today?' Alli asked as we slowly walked to the limo. It was so hard to resist just grabbing Cody's hand, but I guess that's why I stayed this side of Alli, so I wouldn't do it.
We got into the limo and collapsed onto the seats. I laid with my head on Cody's shoulder and my feet on the seat, and Alli did the same, but her head was just on the seat. It would have been weird otherwise. Awks paturtle weird.
We got in to see lots of people crowding around the table, and Matt was looking pretty rushed off of his feet. He saw us come in and gestured us over.
'Guys. We've got trouble.' He said. We worked our way through the madness to look at the table, and there in front of us were at least six magazines with mine and Cody's face on.
I'll leave it to you to figure it out.
