I woke up late and gently hit Mel to wake her up.

‘What time is it?’ She asked about as confused as I was.

‘Oh my gosh it’s 1pm!’ I said, springing out of bed at the same time Mel did.

‘Oh crap! Be right back, I gotta shower!’ She said, running off to the bathroom. I laughed and walked over to the vanity table and played with my hair. I decided to fish tail plait is down my back and I applied a light covering of makeup. Well, mascara and some lip gloss. I had around 4 hours to get ready now, because what I’d just done took me around an hour and I finally started to feel more alert. I enlisted Mel’s help to decide what to wear and settled for a pretty blue and pink skirt with a coordinating vest top. I debated with myself whether to wear heels or flats but decided on flats so I didn’t break my neck when I was reunited with Alli. Plus, in flats, my head fits perfectly on Cody’s shoulder. It was now 5.30pm and I waited impatiently for Cody to get here whilst Mel readjusted her hair around 50 times. I finally heard the limo pull up outside and I grabbed Mel’s hand and ran downstairs, looking rather desperate to see Cody. Which I was, I had three week’s worth of affection to fit into two days, so I was making the most of every second with him.

Cody got out of the limo and held the door for Mel and I.

‘You look beautiful!’ He whispered to me as I got in and I kissed his cheek.

‘Alli can’t wait to see you!’ Cody said to Mel.

‘I can’t wait to see her either!’ She giggled. She practically pressed her face against the glass as we rode to the venue.

‘She says that she’s sorry she didn’t come to pick you up, they have something to sort out there, but I wanted to come so I’ll find out when we get there!’ he laughed and he put his arm around me and squeezed me. I rested my head on his very missed shoulder. It felt right again.

It didn’t take long to get there and the limo pulled up at the back of the venue. Already there were fans lining up outside the venue, hoping to get a glimpse of Cody before the show.

‘Want to come and meet some fans?’ Cody laughed as he took my hand.

‘Of course!’ I replied and I took Mel’s hand in my free one. Cody answered some questions with various reporters and signed some autographs, and I was surprised when I was asked to sign some too. Cody was very smooth in covering up as to why I wasn’t on tour with him at the previous destinations and I smiled at how chilled out he was. It only just began to sink in that he might actually have forgiven me.

‘Okay, well I’ll see you guys later!’ He laughed and we walked back towards the limo and inside the building.

‘Wow, that was incredible!’ Mel laughed as we got inside. With that, I heard Alli pounding towards us and both Mel and I hugged her at the same time.

‘I missed you guys so much!’ She said and I had to restrain from crying!

‘I missed you too!’ We almost said in unison and Cody walked over to us.

‘Sorry to interrupt your reunion!’ he giggled. ‘But what was the drama before I left?’

‘Damn it, I forgot, I was so excited! Well, we’re a person down, quite an important person down! Becky is ill and can’t sing, so we need a replacement kind of fast!’ Alli said, biting her lip in anxiousness.

‘Crap! Who?’ Cody said, pacing up and down. He looked chilled on the outside but I could tell he was panicking on the inside because he was biting his nails. I only noticed a few weeks ago, but when he’s trying not to show his nerves he bites his nails.

‘Alli? Could you do it?’ Cody asked, almost pleading.

‘I don’t know her part! I tried to learn it while you were gone but I just can’t! I’m sorry brah!’ She said sympathetically.

‘Who else knows it?’ He asked.

I know it.

Cody knows I know it.

He looked at me.

Damn.

‘Hannah?’ He said in the same tone as he asked Alli.

‘B-but I can’t sing!’ I squeaked.

‘Yes you can! I’ve heard you!’

‘When?’

‘You sing all the time! I don’t think you notice you’re doing it and I never said anything because I thought if you were conscious of it then you’d stop, and I love to hear you! You have a beautiful voice, please?’ He asked, taking my hands. I looked into his eyes for a second and knew that I had no choice. I used to sing all the time in drama, but I haven’t sung infront of anybody since then… well, sort of. Not that I was aware of.

‘… okay.’ I said. I saw his face instantly light up and he took me towards a room.

‘I do my warm ups in here, do you want to practise?’ He said and we spent the next ten minutes rehearsing the song. Of course, I couldn’t do it as well as Becky could, and I certainly couldn’t dance but I slowly began to feel more confident once I’d warmed up.

‘Beautiful babe! Well, I’m off now, so I’ll see you in around half an hour! You’re going to kill it! I love you!’ He said as he was whisked away toward the stage.

‘I love you too, good luck!’ I shouted at him and he smiled at me and blew a kiss. I pretend caught it and began to pace around the room waiting for the half an hour to go. Mel and Alli came in and hugged me.

‘Good luck! This is amazing!’ Mel said and she hugged me again.

‘You’re going to do amazingly!’ Alli said and they sat and waited with me. Surprisingly I wasn’t that nervous, knowing that Cody would be by my side, but the amount of people there was slightly unnerving. With that I saw Cody rushing back into the room. He took me hand and quickly hugged me.

‘Keep your eyes locked on me, don’t look at the crowd, I’ll guide you through it.’ He said before hugging me. We walked towards the stage and up the stairs. I kept my eyes on Cody as they handed me a microphone.

'Love you.' He said.

'Love you too!' I replied.

Well, here goes nothing.
