I looked at Cody. He looked as in shock as I was. I lent on his shoulder and we looked at the photos of us today, all digitally re-altered to show the promise ring on my left hand.

‘Well, how do we handle this?’ Cody asked Matt, who just shrugged his shoulders.

‘I’m going to check my Twitter, see how far this has spread on there!’ I said and Matt slid his laptop over to me. When I signed in, it was clear that this was no secret. I didn’t have to look at my mentions; the tweets to me filled my timeline. I gestured Cody over and he sat on a chair behind me, looking over my shoulder.

‘Majority of them are civil!’ I said, shrugging off the fact that there was hate.

‘I suppose. Look at that one.’ He said, pointing to a tweet. I clicked it.

@InfinityCody: Guys, I had my photo taken with Cody and Hannah earlier, the ring is on her right hand, not her left like the photos show! They’ve altered the photos, wait until they’ve said themselves.’

There was a photo attached to the tweet of the girls that we had our photo taken with earlier. The ring was clearly on my right hand.

‘InfinityCody, I remember her. I stalk her Twitter sometimes.’ He said, deadly serious. I couldn’t help but smile both at how serious he was and that he had just openly admitted that he stalks his fans’ Twitter accounts.

‘So, should I tweet that it’s a promise ring?’ I asked.

‘We definitely need to solve it quickly. But don’t rush.’ Matt said, I’d almost forgotten he was here.

‘Is there something important you need to tell me Matt?’ Cody asked, walking over to him.

‘Well…’ He started.

‘I’d wait, let’s get this sorted first.’ Brad interrupted from the corner of the kitchen. Again, I’d almost forgotten he was here.

‘Why?’ Cody asked, looking confused.

‘It’s nothing bad, don’t worry!’ He smiled before leaving the room, not giving Cody time to respond.

‘Matt?’ We both said.

‘Like Brad said, it’s nothing bad!’ He half smiled. ‘We have more important things to sort out right now.’

We looked at each other, but shrugged it off.

‘Let’s go down to the garden, we can think of something there!’ Cody said, taking my hand.

‘Be careful guys, I’ll be watching Twitter!’ He laughed, making a James Bond style gun with his hands and blowing the top of it. We laughed before going through the screen door and walking to the bottom of the garden. Cody laid his jacket out on the grass and gestured helped me down, seeing as I still had the occasional struggle with my ribs.
